Ah, Arsenal and the referees, and old story...
Ohh well....
I gotta admit the amount of wrong calls against the Gunner is a bit much this year. :(
Ohh well....
I do think there is a certain bias against Arsenal and there been one for a while now but I gotta concede, I don't know exactly where it come from.
It suck but I'm hoping it get better in the future. Though I'm not too confident, it seem to me ref are even worse despite all the new tools to get call right and its not only Arsenal that are victim of that kind of things (though its true they seem to be more than other).
Totally agree, I think we are so shit that any sort of error is valuable to us. It's not an excuse to say we would be in Top4 without these errors, we are exactly where we belong, midtable.
I think EPL referees got the best job in the world, doing job so poorly yet no action is taken against them, yet they watch football and are getting paid for being so bad at their job.
@quickzyy exactly, I feel the same for Barca but yeah when teams play well they keep pushing and goals come getting whistles or not.
@Tiki_taka if you are talking about the original post, barca are the complete opposite, getting an excessive amount of decisions in their favour
this season we got incredibly harsh refreiing. but the team is weak
@Footy_Watch We're not talking about the 2016–17 UEFA Champions League btw. ;)
As much as I agree with the poor officiating, Arteta should still explain why he’s ended 8th and is about to get midtable in back to back seasons.

Doubt we reach 8th mate, you're too optimistic
I mean last season.
Feel bad for Arteta, he's really in a Lampard situation. I mean, refering hasn't been kind to Arsenal but despite that, if Arteta would have had more managerial experience, Arsenal might be higher this season. I know he been an Arsenal player in the past but I feel pressure building up on him.

If this club had a little ambition they would sack him by December, look how Tuchel transformed Chelsea in just a few weeks..
Arsenal and ambition dont go along anymore sadly. I just dont see any big trophy mentality in Arteta'd style...

I don't see any trophy in this pathetic style, so you're more optimistic than me!
Arteta was lucky last season because of the 5 substitutes and water break rule. He has been exposed this season, he's very far from being ready at managing a big club.
And yet, he might not only get to stay but overhaul the team? https://www.espn.com/soccer/arsenal-engarsenal/story/4382611/arsenals-arteta-hints-at-major-squad-overhaul-this-summer-following-europa-league-defeat
He might have Ronaldo & Messi and he would still play Willian instead.
@quikzyyy Ooof. Has he been that bad with his team selection? I haven't followed Arsenal enough to tell. I know he's been given a lot of playing time to young player which isn't a all that bad in my book.
