LOL Man utd are strugling year after year to bring best players, that's because of their stupid negotiations, i don' t think Schwayny will either leave. They are destroying their reputation.

Fergie's politic was - believe in young players, not invest much in transfer window and what ? We won everything! Now we should start with signing big players . We need 1 player only. I swear I would rather see Fellaini in our squad than Fabregas , cos Fellaini can improve us in defense and attack !

Actually, your team didn't win everything since 98/99. Last season, your only trophy was the EPL.

And Ferguson DID spend big on players. A lot of money was dished out in order to bring home Veron, Ferdinand, Cantona, Ronaldo, Rooney, RVP, etc. He invested quite a lot in transfer windows.

^Yeah but he doesn't spend big every single season. Plus, most of his transfers are worth it. RVP has already payed back that 24 million. Rooney payed back his transfer fee. Same with Cantona, Ronaldo and Ferdinand. He rarely brought in expensive flops.

I'm not saying I want Schweinsteiger in the club but hy's everyone getting their panties in a twist because of this supposed 'attempt' at luring Schweinsteiger? Are we not allowed to bid for players now? Jesus.

@tiki: The same can be said to Barcelona in their pursuit for David Luiz/Thiago Silva. Bayern haven't confirmed a bid from ManUtd why is everyone making a big fuss when there is no legitimate proof showing ManUtd bid for Schweinsteiger.

@vendetta yep and i'm against those transfers, its unfair to try to get players that wants to stay in their clubs and the club does not wants to sell. It was a waste of time for us and it will be the same for united.

You do have a point in that but you've got to at least try. Before the news going around the Rooney wants to hand in a transfer request, everyone said Chelsea should stop focusing on Rooney because ManUtd would never sell (and they still might not) to a rival. But now all the English medias are reporting Rooney is going to hand in a transfer request to join Chelsea despite all these years in the club he said he wanted to retire in. And this was all achieved by bidding for Rooney TWICE. You've got to try before you just say that's impossible.

Is Rooney going to Chelsea ??? I have no informations about that, i will be very surprised and disapointed by the player.

^Multiple English medias are reporting a 25 million pound bid was rejected and Rooney is not happy about that so he is going to hand in a transfer request soon.

But Schweinsteiger is playing for Bayern at the moment, the best team in the world. Why on earth would he ever switch to United? Doesn't make sense. I just don't see any reason which Moyes can use to his advantage to convince Schweini to come.

Chances of signing schweinsteiger are higher,because pep rather use thiago than schweinsteiger..

The only midfielder I can see Bayern selling would be Gustavo.

@taishi I don't know where you heard that Bulls*** but using Thiago instead of Schweinsteiger would be disastrous. Schweinsteiger is I think the most loved footballer for the fans in Munich and there would be no way Thiago took his place. Also, Pep plays 4-3-3 and there is place for 3 midfielders: Schweinsteiger - Martinez - Thiago.
