I don't understand how they afford him. They don't have any fans. Seriously even Turkish third division teams have more fans than Başakşehir. But I am glad they got Clichy. Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe fans are crying rn about how they missed him.

@Emre You don't think finishing second in the super lig while not being favorite at all kind of showed the side ambition and attractivity? I mean, clearly, for me, Basaksehir seem like one of the four most interesting team in the Super Lig right now but that might just be me. :)
@Emobot You're right. They have ambition and attractivity but they have no incomes from the fans. I mean this club is a municipal team supported by Erdoğan. They finished 2nd last year but how can they afford all those players is beyond me. They have Adebayor, Chedjou, Elia, Edin Visca, Cengiz Ünder (Man City just bid for him but the club didn't accept), Caicara, Babacan, Epureanu and so on. I am just being suspicious.
But I agree with you about them being one of the four most interesting teams in Turkey. In fact I believe they will again finish 2nd above Fener and Gs.
The window just opened a few days ago and this thread is already at over 600 comments. What's it's going to end as? I'm guessing 3500 comments. Lol.
@Amir Nah, it won't get that high... but then again, who knows. :P
@Emre I see, in other word, you find their sudden rise in power and in term of recruiting suspicious, fair enough. Didn't knew the other detail. But no matter the circumstance, it doesn't change the fact the team is doing great right now. Heres hoping no wrong has been done to achieve that. :)
Lukaku to have Manchester United Medical in LA ahead of US tour.

I thought that Lukaku will end up in Chelsea, he would be perfect there.
Manchester United on the other hand isn't his perfect destination but he will play the target man just like Ibrahimovic so it will work out fine for him personally.
Hope he goes to united and we sign morata
@sunflash that is a very enlightening article...couldn't disagree with anything the guy said
from what he said sounds like pogba is the right guy to pair him with...he said lukaku needed someone who could put the ball where he would have space to take a shot rather than having to make the space himself...pogba can deliver these kinds of passes and crosses all day long.
@emo apparently so...he is in LA right now training along with his friend pogba as it happens which could suggest the rumour's credibility

@Chelsea8 You might just want to focus on you signing Morata more than him joining United though. :P
@Sunflash @Nigelpayne
Favorite line in the article:
Lukaku adores putting hat-tricks past peasants.
And to be fair, thats exactly what United need, to be able to win against weaker opposition easily. Mourinho will then play defensively and pherhap draw most of the away game against the other big six and then focus on winning against them at home. This would propably be the most efficient way to mount a challenge for the title next season. :)

(Its their seventh signing of the transfer window already. :O)
(Curious to hear how Real Madrid fan feel about him, does anyone believe he can become one of the next great thing for Real?)

Am I the only one not impressed that AC Milan is spending and stacking more or less average players?
@Golazo Well, its really depend, some of their signing have been brillant, like the move for Silva (best portuguese prospect in attack), Kessie (one of the best prospect in Italy) and Calhanoglu. The move for Musachio and for Conti should be good as they are proven player imo. Borini and Ricardo Rodriguez however could be a bad move, the first one isn't top class but could be useful as a backup and the second one had a good season a year ago but wasn't impressive in his last campaign, it will all depend if he can revive his best performance. So yeah, I wouldn't say all of the player they signed are simply more or less average but you are propably not the only one. Still, all those signing are a good sign of ambition at the very least. It show they are really trying to change their fortune around.

As super part time real madrid fan , i can input my opinion on him . Yes he will be one of the next great things for Real .
I don't know about Morata but who is that guy Belottii ? Never heard of him until this season ...
Chelsea match United's offer.
Lukaku I will never forgive you if you go to United.
