Today at school I was fantasizing about the idea of 11 Ronaldos playing agianst 11 Messis. It would be pretty interesting to see. As much as I like messi, i would go with ronaldo because he is more athletic and complete. He will be able to play in more positions than messi.IDK. My brain just explodes at the thought of something like this.
Any thoughts?

Ronaldo. He's a physical specimen. Messi needs the physical part of the game to be done for him by others on his team, or he (and Barcelona) just get physically overwhelmed. 11 Ronaldo's would hammer 11 Messi's (who wants 5'7" CB's?).

Think about how this would and would not relate to the discussion of who is the better player. Its pretty funny how things can look when put a unique perspective.

People don't realise how strong Messi actually is. His strength and balance is unmatched. 11 Messi's would have 100% of possession. 4 Messi's v 11 CR7 would be more fair.. That's how big the talent gap is between them.

a messi goalkeeper would be pretty bad, ronaldo would just shoot all day from outside the box. Also if he can't get past messi with pace, he'll just kick the ball upfield and ronaldo can head it down pretty easily. And he can probably head it in the goal ahead of the messi goalkeeper.

Too lazy to talk about how good 11 messis would be but I would watch that game for sure. And it's hard to say who would win it.

You guys are talking about a Messi goalkeeper? Cr7 won't even get out of his own half let alone have the chance to take a shot. Messi's passing, defending, shot accuracy, pace > cr7. Even the heading.. 2009 Rome CL final, that header against van der Sar? Superior technic.

@wolfie are you joking? For one messi sucks at defending. His heading is mediocre at best and he is know where near to having the athleticism as Ronaldo

@charlie- Messi is a much better defender and header of a ball than cr7, Fact. A simple search on youtube, you can see all the compilations.
@Keisuke- cr7 has terrible running technic. His arms flap side to side like a goose taking off. Watch the video when he gets tested to the limit.

@wolfie what have you been smoking, ronaldo is faster than messi, and he is arguably the best header of the ball in the world. And I watched that video, they said his running technique was adapted to football compared to the technique of a sprinter. So his technique is not terrible, he'll run right past Messi.
