Last week France national team were knocked out of Euro 2021 as two of their players were caught up in a serious racism scandal.

A video of Griezmann and Dembele started doing rounds on social media where the two Barcelona players mock Asian people.

One of their World Cup heroes who turned Euro 2021 flops, finds himself in hot water. A video featuring a smiling and laughing Griezmann who was reportedly recorded by Ousmane Dembele.

Two Asian men, work on repairing the room’s TV in an attempt to allow the players to play EA Sports FIFA. The player filming makes fun of the men, talking about their "ugly faces," before mocking their language.

The video is apparently not new, and it's unlikely that it was created during the European Championships given the contrast in Griezmann's hairstyles. Some have speculated the video could date back two years ago.

Irrespective of when it was filmed, the video has sparked outrage under the hashtag #StopAsianHate. There have been calls for the French Football Federation to release a statement and consider consequences for the players involved.
