Please Chelsea fans give AVB a chance. He is a brilliant tactician and has a confirmed philosophy. This is hard to find in a manager. He is a proven winner as we saw with Porto, but he is just trying to find the right balance for this old Chelsea team who have lots of chemistry, but have lost some speed. It takes time for new players like Mata, Torres and Luiz to gel. Sir Alex was almost sacked for getting a string of bad results, but he was given the chance and look what he did at United. Premier League is a tough league to manage and only experience can help a manager succeed. AVB can actually help Chelsea play more attractive football too, but by calling for his head you're just asking for a new manager who will have even a tougher task of integrating all these players. I am sick of managers in the Premier League being sacked, it's just a bad look for English football.

Give AVB a chance to build a squad and chelsea will progress as a close nit unit, all these players at the moment were bought by numerous managers, thats why they don't combine well because they were bought for a vision by managers who are no longer there. Who cares if chelsea dont qualify for champs league this year. I remember the days of zola and vialli etc where the bridge was full of so much passion. Roman will not sack AVB,he is a very very good manager. Some of chelsea's players are passed it. I realized this against inter,Milito absolutely killed Terry, Lampard has no impact, and when he does he takes it away from the strikers. There is no connection between the midfield and the strikers when mata is not playing. Mikel,Malouda not good enough. Anelka and Drogba lack hunger, Torres has hunger but only has a couple of players that help him. The only mistake AVB has done is the first 11 selection and not to admit is high d.line is not good. the defense is to slow agianst counters. Imagine if they play like this against MADRID. 0-5. If they play the right way, they could win.
