What i dont understand is how come walcott get more playing time then podolski...In my opnion podolski has better understanding of the game as for walcott all he does is use is pacey runs & no creativity at all that wont work always...Anyway lets see how well and far we can go with this current squad we got in my point we need a DM & CB we can manage front line what we have got.

Walcott plays on the right, so he never competes directly with Podolski. Podolski competes with Giroud in the centre and Oxlade Chamberlain or Cazorla on the left. Walcott can play down the middle but doesn't very often.
