I think the problem isn't messiless barca. Eventhough the stats don't show it, he's been declining. You feel he is way past his prime. I was kinda glad that he left, because he was becoming a dependency.

And others are becoming burdens too, imo. Like pique, alba and busquets. At least the younglings can learn from them before they leave, hopefully sooner than later.

Furthermore, Koeman doesn't feel like it's the right fit. He already has some experience with young guns (netherlands) but only time will tell

At this point I gotta give Barcelona some pettiness...they are forming a young squad and on the merge of building that young squad. They basically under construction instead of buying big stars they're building for the future which will take time to get their form building a young squad from the ground up. It's like playing manager mode on FIFA and you have no stars and every player is 19 year old with a 65 rating. Give them a break.
