The shame here is not on the linesman. The ball has only just crossed the line. Big decision to make unless you're 100% sure. The shame is on UEFA and FIFA not rolling out goal-line technology and VAR across all competitions. Not sure how you don't have the technology that's not available for the qualification, but you do for the finals. You either have consistency across the game fully or none at all. I thought the red for Milinkovic was also very harsh. Yellow card but not a straight red.

I didn’t know that they don’t even have goal-line technology.

Seriously these are the world cup qualifiers, we should not expect but demand that the technology be implemented.

Forget the referee, it was the last action of the game so it wouldn't be wrong if Uefa just awarded the win to Portugal. The fact that they haven't is further evidence of corruption in football. This is how there have been many undeserving winners of competitions. For this reason it's stupid to take trophy winners seriously.

This is why its dumb to attach yourself to any football team, there have been many undeserving winners of competitions due to incorrect referee decisions.

For this reason it's stupid to take any team who wins something seriously, which means it's stupid to attach yourself so strongly to any team.

Modern football refs standard is shocking at times.. maybe it's the technology that they are no longer used to referee a game without it.. yellow card to player for incompetent refereeing by the linesman, that's football.
