So, this incident is widely disputed at the moment in the romanian press and i must say people can't really see the problem. Thing is, this simple minded fellow is being lynched by the media and also politicians. And for what?! He described this guy as a "black person", the term "negru" is not a racist slur which holds negative conotations in the romanian language. It is true that the ore appropiate term would have been "de culoare" meaning person "of color" rather than calling him black. But this guy is not a genius, f he could be accused of something, it would be lack of politeness because of lacking vocabulary.

I am acutally also feeling sorry for this guy, i am quite sure that he had no intention at all to be racist. This will probably be the end of his career, maybe he will also be ordered to pay a big fee because of the whole thing, ruining him financially...and for what? for being uneducated?! Maybe next time UEFA should school people beforehand on what shouldn't be said...

I don’t know but to me it seems like the controversial word is the english version because of its american history... unless ofc the color black has its own word.
