So, this incident is widely disputed at the moment in the romanian press and i must say people can't really see the problem. Thing is, this simple minded fellow is being lynched by the media and also politicians. And for what?! He described this guy as a "black person", the term "negru" is not a racist slur which holds negative conotations in the romanian language. It is true that the ore appropiate term would have been "de culoare" meaning person "of color" rather than calling him black. But this guy is not a genius, f he could be accused of something, it would be lack of politeness because of lacking vocabulary.

When I type it in Google translator it comes up as negru. Its not racist to indirectly call a person by their skin colour. Its like saying the guy with green eyes, blonde guy, etc
