Varane the man. I wonder who's worse him or pique. Great game by valencia considering their recent poor form. Vinicius and his finishing is really something. I'm afraid that's the weakness in his game and that could really hurt his career if not nurtured property and if he doesn't work hard on that aspect. Anyway, it's great seeing RM dropping points and gratz to valencia on the deserved win.

We couldn't cope with VARencia today.. the referee wanted a hattrick so bad he gave a penalty for a 50:50 challenge to make it 3:1 and decide the match, it's a shame.. overall every conceded goal was like a bad coincidence.. unlucky game.. let's move on

Penalties aside... Valencia were really good. They had many really dangerous counterattacks and hit the post. Honestly I could have not given a penalty for Marcelos challenge, but for example Ramos handball was clear as the sun a cloudless day. Varane messing with the ball causing an own was also bad. So RMs main issue was that their defense underperformed. They missed Carvajal and Casemiro badly.

I also found rhe 2nd penalty harsh. But 1st and 3rd there was not a debate/doubt.

I usually dont troll on a wrong judgment by ref but man, you were one of the guys always approving every single controversial decision that went on RM's favor (in our opinion) and even those incidents that ref didnt even check the video, you used to laugh at those complaining and the most popular response was "cry me a river". But still i hate rubbing salt on someone's injury and not gonna talk more about the passed. Yeah i think the 2nd penalty was harsh.
