@Adam25 It's a Panenka, its a risk. You look like a boss when it comes off, look like a twat when it doesn't. We'd be complimenting his cleverness if Mendy had dived. Fine margins.

Chelsea will win final too. I think we're flying right now and I am not being cocky here. But final will be ours to lose if we don't keep our heads low and stay focussed for the remainder of the season. City doesn't have striker and our players are good in front of goal except Werner.

Benching their best player. No Mahrez no party.

Feel bad for Aguero - his pride was hurt after Sterling scored off his bad touch a few minutes beforehand. How that's not a penalty on Sterling is beyond me. The one positive is that we nearly beat Chelsea with a bizarre tactical set-up and the b team in. Obviously both coaches didn't want to show their hand but Pep's set-up was particularly vibey. Super pissed we didn't win the league at home against them, but it doesn't feel like the pressure is on for the CL final.

Huge props to Tuchel. Their defensive record since he arrived, aside from that West Brom outlier, has been absolutely stellar.

This will happen again in the Champions league final. You just got a demo version of it.

Big psychological boost for Chelsea that builds upon their recent win over Man City in the FA Cup semifinal. They'll be full of confidence for that final. Should be very compelling.

@_Pelle_ I watched it again to make sure. Aguero's execution is fine...just Mendy didn't dive 😂

VAR significantly changed the race for top 4 in Chelsea's favour for denying the clear penalty for sterling

sterling should've been sent off with a red card, so no...

@Gooooooner If this happened to Auba, to Werner, to Mane, to Kane, basically to any striker of the team you're fan of, you would want this to be a penalty no matter what.

David Luiz conceded for even less contact penalty + red card, this is somehow not even foul, FA is absolute joke :D

Morrizen 5 years ago

Chelsea, Mexico 4 791

there was no contact at all

Because its Sterling, he has this cheating history, it'd be a penalty if it was someone else.
