Also, fuck Harry Kane for that disgrace challenge which VAR somehow missed again, as their golden boy can't be punished.

We were amazing until that red card, after that it was disaster performance and Arteta game management absolutely clueless, deserved 3 points.

first goal Lamela with that amazing skill then the Real Madrid Martin Oedegaard that used to be called the next big thing and it seems like he will find his success at Arsenal instead of Real Madrid then that amazing goal from Lamela went from WOW to OOFF with that red card LMAO

Typical of fickle football fans, but after being so harsh to Serge Aurier (who has been largely excellent this year IMO) most Tottenham supporters would've bitten your hand off for him to be in there today. Credit to Arsenal for exploiting the Bale-Doherty pairing. Lucas Moura continues to look good in a more central position - he gave his absolute all for the club. Massive props to him he doesn't get the credit he deserves from many Spurs supporters.

From what I've seen Aurier was much better than Doherty is there any reason why Mou picked Doherty to start nld? Moura was your best player, also hope Son injury is not serious.

That lamela goal was beautiful, that is what you call football. I had a feeling when he came on that he would do something in the game.

good game! wonder wats wrong with mou though! how cud u take bale off, he was the only one who showed some hope for spurs in the 1st half.. it was hez long cross that made the goal.. either its the bitch from chelsea or the dogba from united who have ruined him.. and wats with defenders passing around lately.. have noticed this with majority of the clubs.. makes sense if youre 5,4,3 or may be even 2-0 in the 80th minute.. but in a game where youve been dominated by the opponent you cant afford to take risks and sit back! just clear your fuckin lines! and thatd wat they did after goin down to 10 men, and look how that changed the entire reflection of the game! unless your man city who by the way do it really well!

Disappointing to see Bale come off but the Doherty-Bale pairing was an absolute sieve against Arsenal's left side. They had to do something to fortify the right side, only thing that surprised me was that a change wasn't made at halftime.

I said to my buddy during the match that Kane pulled a "Scott Stevens" who was a professional hockey player that made a career out of elbowing guys in the head. Obviously not a play fit for the football pitch.

Such a weak mentality from the players when they got a red. We played like we had 10 men and spurs had 11 men, disgraceful. For this we deserved to concede but spurs didn't deserve anything. We played well and still only won against 10 men by one goal. It barely feels like a victory

Spurs didn't deserve anything. Unimaginative, the forwards hardly involved, the right back kept being skinned in the first half and you could say, the lamela goal was definitely vs the run of play!

Well last week vs Burnley, all the talk was of the referee. Let's see if the Arsenal faithful are as 'balanced' regarding the two terrible refereeing decision. The pen given - the ball is already gone before Sanchez touches the arsenal attacker. Not a denying a goalscoring opportunity and nor was it a dangerous tackle. Then lamela makes an excellent tackle getting the ball fully but the referee gives him a yellow. Granted the second yellow was deserved, but should've been his first yellow. Deserved win for Arsenal though. Spurs were pretty unimaginative bar that quite astonishing goal.

The ball doesn't need to be near a player for there to be a foul. Look at the psg vs barca game where icardi got fouled when the ball wasn't anywhere near him and VAR rightly gave the penalty. I dont remember the first lamela booking but they played better with 10 men anyway

Yes, I appreciate that how the rules are! The ball was already gone. Had a full shot before Sanchez had clattered into him!

"Then lamela makes an excellent tackle getting the ball fully but the referee gives him a yellow. " Lamela literally should have been send off 3 fucking times today with the tackles against Xhaka, kicking Luiz, and horrendous challenge on Saka

Look where the ball is. Didnt Lacazette get up and take the pen? The defenders leg is at same level as where lacazette's shooting leg is. Not excessive, not showing studs and nor has he gone into the back of him! The contact happens well after a sliced shot and ball going away from goal. Are you qualifying the first yellow for lamela because his other challenges, or do you think it was a deserved yellow?

He has his studs straight on Lacazette ankle, just because he didn't get injured it doesn't mean the tackle is not dangerous. Both of yellow cards were deserved for Lamela, he was already warned before the first one that he made already 2-3 yellow worthy challenges.

Doherty, who has improved incrementally but still hasn't looked great, already had a huge task going against Tierney and Smith-Rowe but Bale's lack of cover compounded his problems. Surprised Mourinho didn't fortify the right side at halftime.
