that first goal! as my youth coach would say: "If a man is dancing on the ball like that in front of you, you break his legs"

There still seems to be a mental problem... If Elneny puts in a good performance against UTD and a week later he's back to being all over the place and over-confident-no-skills-to-show-for-it something is very wrong. Sure the entire team wasn't brilliant but look at the 1st goal he's stepping up to try and catch the assist provider offside when he should have prevented that ridiculous angle of a pass from being possible. Why step up??? Defend the passing lane you idiot... That being said Villa gave a great all around performance with two world class passes from Barkley. Deserved.

I love Arsenal because we used to be playing attacking football, flowing, and beautiful pass. Where are those now? I am happy we lost today.

@ManchesterUnitedFan it seems like you are contending to look like the most stupid idiot person.
Our best start came in the Emirates era in the 2007/08 season.
In our first 14 league games we won 11 and drew 3. That's 36 pts in 14 games. We were almost unstoppable in that season but matchfixing made man utd win the league undeservingly finishing 4pts ahead of us.

@Footy_watch this doesn't come from my little dispute with Nagannou in this post.. infact it comes from United vs Istanbul where I made a statement saying United under ole seem to fail against the undergo which is true..as they lost to Istanbul arsenal and crystal palace ๐Ÿคฃ I can understand you are hurt with this defeat..a clueless playing xi against a energetic and young villa team

predicting Man Utd losing is almost impossible. One game they can be awful and the next, they score 3-4. Definitely not a fan, but I'd much rather be watching Man Utd games instead of arsenal. For that with Man Utd, you might actually get some offensive football and something that remotely resembles positivity.

Actually Man utd are only slightly more offensive than we are, you just have a bias against arsenal

In 7 prem matches involving Man Utd, there have been 25 goals. In the 8 premier league matches involving arsenal, there have been 19 goals. That's a 6 goal swing. Man Utd are also competing in the champions league, having scored 8 goals in 3 matches and in what is turning out to be a very competitive group. Do I consider them better than Arsenal? No. Is there evidence to suggest that their matches are pretty unpredictable? Most definitely. So whilst I don't give them credit for being more offensive, I can say that as a neutral, their matches have been more entertaining as nobody knows what will happen. They lose in Turkey but then go and win at Everton. They get thumped by Spurs but smash RB Leipzig. I wouldn't pay to watch arteta's arsenal if it was the last match I could watch.

Scoring goals =/= playing offensive football. Atletico and juventus are scoring loads of goals yet their style is quite boring and defensive.

I thought Arteta would make us play good football but we are one of the worst teams to watch. People need to realise so Arteta can get sacked

fuck this bullshit tactic with 5 defenders 2 holding midfielders, absolutely no creativity, 1 goal in 4 matches? what the fuck is arteta thinking about tactics with crossing the ball to Lacazette? absolute rubbish performance, deserved win for Aston Villa outclassed us in every single aspect of the game.

Based on Artetas many interviews he will not move away from the defensive mindset. I hope our bad run continues unless Arteta makes the right moves

I'm very happy because I've been Arteta out for a few weeks after realising how poor we've been playing even though we got decent results. Little to no creativity with excessive sideways passing. Arteta has been worse than Emery in the league. Aubameyang has had his worst spell at Arsenal, he shouldve been dropped already. Pepe out, nketiah is a championship player, Lacazette was dropped when he was on form but now he should be kept on the bench. We need Martinelli back.
