Two surprising stats here. Arsenal's first Premier League win at Old Trafford since 2006, and Arsenal having the best defense so far in the Premier League

Maybe now people would put some respect on the Arsenal name. Beat United, Liverpool and City.

Manchester United team played better in Champions League than in the premier League ........ Maybe it is the first target for the team this season

Great to see Partey starting to show what he can do. Made Pogba and the MU midfield very frustrated... Great reading, nice explosive run buts always with control and class... Sure Arteta's football isn't so good to watch yet but I think I'm starting to understand what he's doing. He's building the team step by step. And the basis is solidity and fighting spirit - focusing on what we were lacking throughout the past years rather than trying to stay true to some "total football" ideal which we simply don't have the players to impliment atm...

Utd have won 14% of games in the last two years when they don't get a penalty.
Surprised? Me neither

Goes to show why Arteta wanted a solid backline. Now his attackers can go all out and bring in the goals.

Could've subbed the whole team. Fernandes was the Fernandes I remember from his time at Doria and Udinese. Maguire had a decent game in defence and Greenwood really did try. But bar that, Ole could've subbed them all off.

Pound for pound, probably the worst football match I've ever watched. Both teams were just horrendous. Man Utd played the first half like they were playing for a point. A home game and only really rallied in the last 6 or 7 minutes.

You watched a different game, we controlled the game and man utd didn't have one good chance whereas we had a couple. We dominated and deserved the win

If by just passing the ball around and generally doing f all with it you mean 'controlled the game', then yes, arsenal controlled the game. Created next to nothing bar the auba shot that missed the post and the unpressed passing that led to the penalty. Man Utd also did nothing but they did hit the post. So all in all, a draw would've been fair. saying that, Man Utd were the home team and the emphasise was on them to take the game to arsenal. So for not doing that, they got what they deserved.

But you forget the link up play between Willian and Aubameyang, with Willian's shot hitting the crossbar. Other than that, barely much attempts

Arguably but fairly, Gabriel should've been sent off as well. I suppose Sakha ( had a very good game) also missed the goal with that free header in the first half as well.

This is the Arteta Arsenal, we barely create chances in any game. The focus is always on being strong defensively and whilst it's paying off, its rarely going to be a good watcg

As the away team, I'm not going to criticise Arsenal for turning up wanting to win 1-0 or 10-0. My criticism is more of the home team to be honest. At no stage bar the last few minutes did man Utd ever look like the home team or a team wanting to take the initiative.
