VAR is working fine. It's just applying the rules that they've been told to follow here. But the current implementation of what constitutes handball is ridiculous. Right now basically anything that touches the hand as long as it's not right alongside your body will be given as a penalty regardless of context. It's ridiculous because you probably have a better chance at scoring a goal by trying to aim at an opponent's hand as a striker and try to get a pen atm than you would by actually shooting towards the goal

Hands up right in the air, balls touches hand in penalty area...penalty. Instead of crying about the penalty, maybe question why they couldn't score more than one at home vs Newcastle. Sour grapes.
