Martin Atkinson, Mike Dean, Anthony Taylor, Kevin Friend, Andre Marriner, and Jonathan Moss need to retire from refereeing. They're dreadful and always ruin games. Having said that well done to Arsenal they played very well especially Aubameyang.

Huge step for Arsenal Football Club. Arteta begins his campaign on the right foot and brings home silverware. More money for transfers and wages.

Arsenal... kings of the FA cup 💪

They must keep Auba at any price. A world class striker they wont be able to replace,

Sometimes ur lucky other times not... If one would check how many games we lost this season due to officiating mistakes including bad usage of VAR vs how many we won...... This would be one of the only games we won vs. like 10 losses... Determination to win is something we really got a boost from Arteta. Talent isn't everything. Giroud assist to Pulisic was brilliant not many big men have that awareness to make short backheel pass in the danger area... Fortunately for us he's still not a clutch player or goalscorer but in terms of raw talent Giroud is very good... But the beauty of football is not always the more talented side wins but the more determined.

Aubameyang deserves all the money hes been asking for. That second goal just tells you why. Nice game although that kovacic red was really questionable. A silverware for Arteta in his rookie coaching year which is nice. Pulisic and pedro injured yikes. Hope they get back soon. Chelsea will be ready for next season with ziyech and werner, really excited to see how those two do there. Poor refereeing though to be honest.

People in England keep complaining about VAR, when in reality their problem is the woeful referees officiating their games. Evidently, it wasn't really Chelsea's day. Willian out and then multiple injuries etc...add to that the terrible referee! Aubameyang once again shows he is too good for Arsenal.

All Chelsea could win in this match was fauls, cards and injuries.

It's surprising that Chelsea committed the most fauls in this match yet most of their players got injured.

If you think Chelsea were robbed by the second yellow card for Kovacic, explain this: why didn't they accomplish anything between minute 5 and 73?

well because normally any football game is played for at least 90 minutes dumbass. thats was like saying why didn't arsenal scored in the 1st minute, why only scored 2, why the fuck why??

I'm not gonna say Chelsea were robbed but how dumb are you to say something like that? Anthony Taylor played a huge role in this game.

Easy to answer Ironman. Because the other team was effective in shutting them down so that they didn't score more. Notice I don't blame the referee? Did the referee cause Chelsea to not score after minute 5?

oh i notice that smart guy. maybe the other team also was effective in shutting them down so didn't score more either. notice i did use the same reason as you? did i use word 'ref' except this one? did arsenal have more cards than chelsea in this game? did i also mention how many chelsea got injured in this game?

Ironman of course. Why do you think you're making a good argument here? I am not blaming the ref for either team not scoring more or less. The most you can say is that Chelsea were disadvantaged by the ref after the 73rd minute. You can't blame the ref for them constantly shooting over the bar and wasting chances up to that point.

Mate, no one is blaming Arsenal for the ref's mistake I actually think Arsenal would have won regardless of the horrible refereeing but even you as an Arsenal fan can admit Anthony Taylor had a bad day.

xumeey "I actually think Arsenal would have won regardless of the horrible refereeing" - well that's great, but everyone else on here is saying Chelsea lost because of the referee. So evidently he's not referring to you.

Solid game from Arsenal. Chelski too aggressive off the ball and didn't produce enough offensively when they were in possession. Totally ineffective for maybe 70 minutes of the game.
