@eric14 You cannot compare LaLiga to Ligue 1. LaLiga is much tougher especially back in the day when Messi was Kylian's age. This is why Messi is getting the respect of everybody even though he only played in one league; at least a tough league and consistent till this day, that is what you call a legend.

Lift up the France League Cup, lift up the France Ligue 1 title trophy, lift up the France Ligue 1 best player in the season trophy, lift up the best player of France trophy. You'll never be worthy of a Ballon D'or for only being successful in 1 league for rest fo your career. With your talents and you opportunities you can go to multiple leagues and dominate them all but go ahead and stay in your comfort zone, Kylian. You're staying in a league that nobody respects for the rest of your career. I hate when I see talent wasted.

I still think entertaining and skill wise, Ligue 1 is more superior that Serie A. Serie A just now starting to get more views mostly due to CR7 alone because others are boring slow game. While Ligue 1 keep on producing next gen talent.
Then Serie A still having their mafia behind the scene along with stupid and racist fans.

@binjai: I respectfully disagree, while we can certainly argue on which of those two leagues produces the most entertaining games, talent wise I do think Serie A is superior to Ligue 1 (although really not by that much overall). Just look at the pedigree of the handful of "top" teams in Serie A: Juventus, Inter, Milan, Roma, Napoli... I just can't list the same number of teams from Ligue 1 with anywhere close to the same impact: PSG, Marseille, Monaco... Lyon and Bordeaux used to be good, but I don't think the average punter would take a group of Ligue 1 teams over a group of Serie A teams. Again, the difference isn't really that big, and definitely up for debate!
