Never rated Pique, always inconsistent, Barca should make CB a priority

A bit unlucky with the VAR decisions going against us on Messi's second goal and close offside but that's football. But gotta congrats Atleti for giving everything to the last minute. Valverde should have made subs earlier.
That said, the fact that neither Copa or league winners are gonna be in Supercopa final is proof that the format is wrong and all about money grab for shameful Spanish FA. Just put the Supercopa game back to being played in August between the previous league and copa winners (single game on neutral ground is best like Community Shield) and don't add more games in January. The trend of adding more games for money grabbing over player health and performance (just look at Liverpool feature list over the break for exhibit A) has to be reversed.

Barcelona carried by Messi and Ter Stegen, one supplying goals and one denying goals from opponent, Barcelona is nothing without both of them.

Barca today: impressive waves of attack, mediocre midfield, and very poor back line, especially Pique and Roberto.... Everytime Pique stepped up he didn't get the ball, and Roberto failed to protect the field behind, and Barca got punished ....

This format is so meaningless. This is super cup. League winner vs cup winner. And thanks to this format they cant play against eachother. Yeah last season's 2nd team vs 3rd team.
And all this long distance travels back and forth just wont do anytging good to all 4 teams.

This is a spanish tournoment and spanish people should be able to watch it in spain not in KING ABDULA stadium or whatever.

I'll openly whinge like a crybaby, I admit it. Congratulations to the Madrid team (whichever) on winning the Supercup despite winning absolute nada last year. The federation got what they wanted. Money from Saudis, and a cup for Madrid. This new format was announced last February, right after Real lost to Girona and fell behind Atletico, when it became more or less obvious they wouldn't win anything. Barça don't play well since the Liverpool shock, obviously; but this is just unfair. We'd be praising Barça for the success if it wasn't for a hurricane of accomplishments the entire last decade. The whole "put the blame on Valverde" shit doesn't click with me. It feels like gloryhunting to me. If, even at its "worst", this team is still a serious contender on all competitions, that's fine.

I rather lose to ATM now than RM. I really like Simeonone, he deserves this, so much passion for his team. Barca need a coach like this. Instead of puppet coaches that the board/players gets to control.

Another remontada in Valverde's books. What a clown show this club has become. I wonder if players like De Jong, Puig, Arthur and even Alena would want to stay in the club until 2021 in hope of a potential big change. Barcelona is the biggest waste talents at the moment duo to this disgraceful board along with their puppet Fuckverde. Finally some stranger fans showed what the rest of the supporters feel about the coach unlike those Camp Nou pussies.
