Yeah let's put a 5'9 defender at centre back and a 6'2 defender at right back eh? Nice logic

I disagree, Kimmich is much better in attack overlapping with the wingers than Pavard is. In the center he might get on the ball a bit more, but with Thiago, Tolisso and once he is back from injury Goretzka, he is much more useful on the outside. Can you imagine what it will be like when Kimmich gets the same understanding with Gnabry and Coman or perhaps in the future Sane that Lahm had with Robben and Muller?

You guys played pretty well for a lot of the game, I definitely think you can get some decent points out of this relatively weak group. Also Marko Marin was bossing the midfield, I know it'll never happen with Low at the helm, but it would be interesting to see him get another callup for the national squad. It's been a while...

I completely agree he was my MoTM! Coutinho and Tolisso impressed me too and Lucas Hernandez made up for his pretty poor performance against RB Leipzig. Ironically both Perisic and Thiago (who both assisted goals) were pretty disappointing in all honesty. Two many stray passes and both held the ball too long. There is plenty of work to be done, but all in all I'm pretty impressed.
