We don't have the accidental handball rule in Serie A. If it hits a hand, its a penalty. it isn't Juve's fault. Pens been given against them in such BS manner.

Juventus is playing so poor, we have absolutely 0 chances to do something in UCL. I would like to see us play against City, Bayern, PSG or Barca just to see how bad we are. And the handball rule is a joke to be honest, the 2nd penalty was laughable. Atalanta were the better side, and i don't even know how the hell we WON Serie A this season. Lazio's 3 mistakes in the last 3 matches made us champions, otherwise we would finish second.

In reality. The best Italian team is Atlanta and juventus will quit from Uefa Champions League against Lyon and Atlanta will continue in the big European champioship

Both penalties pretty much ridiculous. Atalanta deserved this win so badly.
On the other hand don't know wtf Sarri is thinking about making this kind of substitution. He keeps Rabiot who was miserable from the start to the end, and letting in Ramsey who is completely out of shape instead of Matuidi...

The handball rule and the implementation of it is becoming a joke. It isn't Juve's fault as they were at the wrong end of it when de ligt has a pen given against him. But tonight, Juventus didn't deserve anything. Atalanta are the best team in Serie A and deserved the win. Two utterly shambolic penalties. De room had arm clenched and Muriel didn't have any idea of the ball hitting him. The gap should be 6 points. Feel very sorry for Atalanta. the best team in the league.

Totally agree, the refs keep making horrible calls after the restart. I feel so bad for Atalanta tbh. You know, before the game, I was thinking, what if they come from behind and beat everyone and win it all.. but now I'm not so sure.

Insert the Penaldo memes

Seriously though Atalanta so deserved to win this. And they really need to take another look at the current handball rule because the way it's been treated this season has just been ridiculous

The first penalty juve got was such a bs call from the ref its just ridiculous. The defender had his arm along the body and turned away. That call brings back some ā€calcipolianā€ memories. If I didnt know better I’d say that penalty was bought. It was such a blatantly wrong call.

This game made my blood boil.

Don’t they follow IFAB laws? Do you have a source to your claim? I’m genuinly interested... because that is a shitty rule if it is true. Players can’t cut off their arms.

The rules handed down to each league are not set in stone. It is for the league to determine how to enforce them. The same way you see more referees in Italy consulting the pitch side camera, whilst in England, they tend to rely on what they're told from the control room instead of looking at the pitch side camera. As it stands, ball to hand is automatically a handball in Serie A. The De Roon penalty was particularly outrageous because the arm the ball hit was actually clenched to his body. It didn't deflect the ball, the ball wasn't on target and it definitely didn't deny a clear goalscoring opportunity. Long story short - complete joke!
