Milan 31 pts - Atalanta 35 pts (playing on Saturday away against Torino); Roma 38 pts (playing on Sunday against Lazio).
I don't think it is impossible to see a good fight for the Champions' League spot between Roma, Atalanta and also Milan in the coming weeks.

On paper, yes! But Atalanta have scored double the number of goals, whilst our goal difference is still in the negative. Just can only take it one game at a time at the moment and hope...and pray.

milanlamiavita, You are right. We have to take it a game at a time. And Milan cannot afford losing anymore silly points. On the other hand, it is important to note that if 2 teams get the same number of points at the end of the season, their position is determined by:
i) number of points in direct encounter
ii) goal difference in direct encounter
iii) general goal difference
iv) general total number of goals
v) toss

We'll have to beat Atalanta 6-0 in the return fixture to have a better head to head. More likely vs Roma as we lost 2-1 away.

I\m so happy for this win, but I have to say one thing! Are we gonna treat Ibra, from now on, like a God, who mustn't be ever replaced?! I mean, this was one of his worst games ever! The guy had one 210% TAP-IN goal chance in the 1st half & at least 4 or 5 others, that were VERY SOLID, but he couldn't catch up, or made the wrong move... So, why not replace him with Piatek?! He (Pioli) did the right decision by replacing Leao with Rebic, but he should've done the same with Ibra, replacing him with El Pistolero ('cause THAT'S WHAT HE IS, A TOP NOTCH STRIKER, if you'd forgotten), when nothing was going his way this match & he couldn't make a single right move! I wonder what his pass accuracy on this match would be, but it'll surely be terrible! I alone saw 7, 8 passes directly to Brescia!

@milanlamiavita Hey grandpa?! Mixed your sleeping medication again trying to start a fight with someone!? Since you obviously can't go and get laid, why don't you go somewhere and get yourself fucked by some 12" (30 cm) cock up your ass?!
You have a nerve to call up on someone? An old man like you, who's just fighting and keeps on insulting ppl? Are you that miserable in life? DOn't you really have nothing better to do? I see you spent our time here, but obviously not enough! 'Cause if you had, at least you would've seen that I'm here constantly, and practically commenting on each game that I like (especially from Serie A).
SO, you won't provoke me, you pathetic old man... no matter what you say! I'm here to talk (or even to argue, but in a normal way) with ppl talkin about football!

Another match with Gigio on his own vs the opposition 😂 A bit of a daylight robbery to be honest. Brescia created more chances and were probably better. I didn't think it was possible but the 2nd half was even worse than the 1st half. Bar Gigio and Romagnoli, the rest were awful. As a defensive unit, the defence and midfield are hopeless.

Seriously did not see a midfield, we just waited for Brescia to come to our half and close them down in the box like some mid table team. Need to get rid of Canhalogu first of all, Kessie, Benaccer, all of them. Inexistent. At least castillejo was trying. Another lucky game for us, I want to pull my hair out.

Pretty much spot on. We seemed to be scared to actually make challenges and close the opposition down. I feel a bit sorry for Bennacer because I actually think he has it in him to be very good. But it's impossible when you've got a ghost in Calhanoglu to your left and Kessie alongside you.

I seriously don’t understand how Kessie fell so much, we should’ve kept Bakayoko, I still stand by that claim. At least you know he will hold that defensive mid down. I really don’t know much about benaccer to be honest with you, I hope he is eager to play once we get someone more lively next to him in midfield. I have no idea which direction they’re going right now, like zero. I just pray.

Keeping Bakayoko was pre determined by whether or not we'd qualify for the champions league or not. Chelsea only wanted to sell and he'd have basically cost more than the total amount paid for Leao, Hernandez and Bennacer. You have to remember we also had to give Atalanta 25m for the Kessie. Bakayoko is wasted in Monaco. As you say, it would be a whole other scenario if it was the partnership of him alongside Bennacer. Bennacer has completed the highest number of successful dribbles in Serie A this season.

I see your point, I had no idea he was that expensive. I guess I’m glad we got 3 players instead of one, Leo is turning out to be a new era defender such as scoring and assisting as well as defending. Hopefully we are able to keep him, and now we shop for a new midfield, and maybe a new manager. Not sure how much I trust Pioli, and I definitely don’t want allegri or ancelotti

Feels like Milan is actually recovering some of their self-esteem since Zlatan's return, great to see!
