Great first half with those quick changes from the coach. I believe it was asked from Messi to stop dropping in too much in the mid and get closer to Ansu. First half should have done at least 4-0. Second half started good, but by the 60th min Barca started playing very nervously. They over did the playing from the back way I mean WAYYY too much and many times got close to conceding. That was just ridiculous and unnecessary. Serien's changes were not effective and leaving Rakitic and Busquets two slow ass players in the mid was a mistake. With the way Levante were playing we should've hit them with many counter attacks, but the lack of quick mids didn't help at all. Griezmann will find it hard to succeed at Barca. I would start finding a new team if I were him. Hopefully we keep improving.

I agree with you on all fronts except the Griezmann part.
Recember it is his first year and is used to play Kung-Fu-tball at Atleti. It took Neymar a year to settle in, same with Ter Stegen. So I say patience.

nutmegging to get past the opponent is insulting. nutmegging the goalkeeper to score is another thing and he did that TWICE! Come on, the GK has a family for sure 😂

Idk but i see barca is so weak without messi not bad but not a top team. When messi retires top 3 teams in la liga will be real atletico and then barca

We're gonna see more and more of this as Messi ages... Ronaldo is insane at keeping his level so high at age 34, but his creativity and passing won't improve. Messi can actually still become even better at assisting, and he's already quite amazing. He was privileged to be influenced by some of the best passers in the history of the game: Xavi, Insiesta and Ronalidnho...

To keep his game up in years to come, Messi has to play behind 9. 4-3-3 formation is asking too much from him.

Messi is assisting and it means a lot to him because Barca is his life as long as he's contributing into the match

I don't know it just seems that he's trying many things at the same time. That might have worked with atleti, but with Barca won't work because that's Messi role. I really hope you're right though.

I disagree, Rakitic and Busquets were good. However, you're right that around the 60th minute, Barça couldn't handle the Levante pressure and push to goal. Ter Stegen made some really good saves.

The first half was absolutely brilliant from Barça. They dominated, fluid passing, Semedo was on fire and so many chances created and not just from Messi.

Setien is really making this team finally less dependent on Messi.

I don't know what's up with Arthur, but he is totally off form. Very disappointing.

And Griezmann deserves the spot. He is frustrating to watch at times, but he can fill the 9 role. He could've gotten an easy goal, but missed. That's football. He passes well, makes runs and even defends.

Was really a good game overall, but Barça need to be consistent for 90 min.

Griezmann should start playing simple football rather quirking and tweaking the ball on his feet.
Busquets and Rakitic were asked to run end-2-end and that make them slow as the game approaching towards end.
