Bayern essentially open Gladbach wide open but just pitter away all the chances. Meanwhile, after scoring Bayern's attitude shifted almost to a "oh boy, here we go again", leading to Gladbach coverting two of their 3/4 chances compared to Bayern's 1 out of 9/13.
I track it down to mentality. The Bayern that was relentless and "scary" is now one that is nervous to lose...it's unfortunate, but I have confidence we'll get through it, even if it does mean temporary suffering.
