Chelsea vs Wolverhampton Wanderers Team Performance
Wow, Giroud! Can't believe he's that determined to score. It's interesting to see how that would affect next season selection. Werner obviously will be the first choice (at least for first several matches, as he settles), while Abraham needs to play to develop. But boy, did Giroud earn his spot.
Question: IF Chelsea don't win the FA cup, will their season be considered a failure? They've finished behind Man Utd in the league, albeit on goal difference and lost 12 league matches.
I live in a world of facts and realism. A human being is considered a 'teenager' until 19 years of age. In the entire Chelsea squad, only Gimour and James are 19 years of age. combined, they only played in 30 games. So what 'bunch of teenagers' are you talking about?? I'm not trying to make you look like a complete idiot. I'm simply trying to understand how you referred to Lampard managing a 'bunch of teenagers' when there isn't a single player in the squad before the age of 19.

Bunch of teenagers meaning youth product who didn't have premier league experience. United spent more than 200m and still got same point as us. We lost hazard who was involved inn 50% of goals we scored last season. Even if we don't win FA it will be a successful season.
But that's my point. Bar James, there are no other teenagers. Gilmour played 6 games. It is a squad full of seasoned pro's and experienced premier league players. I'm not saying they did OK despite losing hazard and transfer ban, but it definitely isn't a team of teenagers.
OMG, CHELSEA GOT AN UCL SPOT FOR NEXT SEASON!!!! What a robbery, they paid the refs just to let them go in UCL since they knew they would lose against super Wolves. Wolves got robbed and now they're not even in EL. This is what money does.
On this occasion, I have to agree with you. but that's how the league is. Very top heavy. outside of the top two, the rest are very inconsistent / mediocre.
Yeah but they also won 20 matches and do deserve the UCL spot. They have 10 more points than Arsenal. You're just salty your team couldn't even manage to get a Europa league spot (rightly so, they definitely don't deserve it this season). Credit should be given where it's due.
Credit to what? They lost 12 league matches. 33 points behind Liverpool and 15 behind Man City. None of those numbers point to a team having a good season.
cReDit tO wHaT. They're the 4th team with the highest amount of points, thus deserve the UCL spot? You can't argue with the maths. If you do, you're simply delusional and a hater. Liverpool and City are OBVIOUSLY way ahead of the rest. People on Footyroom really lack common sense. lmao
Goodbye EPL 2019/2020 season! Catch u next season.
