The whole world should see how the PGMOL is helping ManUtd tonight to secure 4th place again tonight. I urge UEFA to investigate PGMOL chairman Mike Riley and Alex Ferguson for their wrongdoings and criminal in the past.

Liverpool back in form after 2 horrible games typical forward Salah and Mane who else is gonna save Liverpool when Salah, Mane, Firmino move on? they need more forwards to rely on.

soulwarrior 7 years ago

Liverpool, Germany 0 12

And why would they "move on"? They're playing for one of the most dominant clubs in the world, as far as I'm aware, all of them ENJOY playing there, so why switch to another club?

Lambo91 7 years ago

Juventus, Italy 0 5196

@soulwarrior Firmino could get an offer from Bayern Munich and Firmino wants to play with specific players or managers, same as Mane or Salah. Mane could get an offer from a club like Inter Milan or Real Madrid that he can't refuse or Salah can get an offer from Barcelona where he dreamt of playing with Barca that he can't refuse.

@xumeey you're sad because you know Firmino, Mane and Salah will leave Liverpool in a heart beat when they get offers from clubs they wanted to join all their childhood.

Whats wrong with 'having a goal by opponents mistakes'? Isnt it the main philosophy of gegenpress? Pressing opponents really hard so they make mistakes then make a quick and devastating counter attack and score a goal

xumeey 7 years ago

Liverpool 0 1462

The mistakes weren't the result of high pressing, Bournemouth just made simple defensive errors. Also, we can't just rely on pressing some teams can beak the press and it takes a toll on the players. These days most teams we play against have an average position of 30% so gegenpressing is not even an option most of the time. We have to find different ways of scoring goals otherwise there will be more loses to come.

Coming from 2 back to back losses with a win after going down ......I think is acceptable. Usually when Lpool losses , we climb back with a draw. Not firing on all cylinders but hey..a win is a win but many should remember...this is not Football Manager

Klopp has rested his best players much less than for example Pep. This is one reason of why they managed to have such a big advantage. And they have avoided injuries on keyplayers... this has helped Liverpool to be consistent in the league.

MikeHawk 7 years ago

Liverpool is so lucky. How they managed to only get 1 loss is beyond me

🤦‍♂️ Because we have the best striker in the league and we've only lost 6 times, only liverpool have fewer losses. The fact we are in the top 4 race shows how much of a farmers league it is

We shouldn't kid ourselves. Our goals came from happenstance and unprovoked defensive errors. We are looking forward to a very difficult Wednesday night.

Sofiaokashina 7 years ago

Liverpool, England 0 115

Chelsea also won because of two defensive errors so this is football sometimes

mirkivicinic 7 years ago

But quick and devastating counter attack is the main philosophy of gegenpressing isnt it?

roachkillah 7 years ago

Liverpool, Hungary 0 75

Press the opponent the very second you lose the ball in the final third as you have a chance to gain possession in dangerous areas is the main philosophy of gegenpressing

Ironman3000 7 years ago

Manchester United, Spain 0 115

I'm sorry, what is the main gegenpressing of philosophy? I'm confused @@

Jurgen Klopp once agains shows how genius he really is, by resting key players against Chelsea he got them fit to get the important 3 points in the league. Who even cares about the FA Cup right? It's not even cool anymore to win a treble..

Link up play in the final third is very bad everything is slightly delayed, rushed, or imprecise. It seems we can't score unless the opposition makes a mistake. I hope this blip ends today and we can go back to dominance and calmness.

English refs are so poor I'm not even mad at them any more I just pitty them.

Poor game despite the three points. If we can’t even break down bloody Bournemouth how we gonna even dismantle Atletico Madrid

If by always having an answer you mean wait for the opponents to make an unforced mistake, then you are right. Expect liverpool to go out of the champions league.

Liverpool really are in free fall. A slightly better team wouldve probably beaten them and there are many better teams than Bournemouth. It will be a shock if they progress in the champions league
