Even VAR themselves admitted they screwed up shortly afterwards. But anyone who knows anything about football would only need to look at that for about 5 seconds to see that was a clear red card...

Mason Mount looks so lively. Man was running around like a maniac even in the 85th minute.

Two players rarely in the starting eleven has shone for us today. I would play Alonso at home against any team where there is more impetus on us to attack but I wouldn't play them against the likes of Man City and Liverpool, who are so dominantly rampant and incessant on their attacks. Lampard needs to use his recognised intellect to find the best ways to win every single matches, that means no favouritism or prejudice.

No Kane, Son, Eriksen, Alli. Don’t see what Spurs can do this season with current squad.

Jose Mourinho calling out Arsenal and telling us that Arteta has no experience of coaching a big team like Arsenal. Here we go again- his getting schooled by Lampard. He talks rubbish and gets beaten.

He IS the special one. It doesnt mean he's good. It's just mean he's weird.

Why is Giroud not credited with an assist as well?

Alonso and Giroud were great today. Why don’t they play more often ?

no matter if there’s VAR in EPL if the referees behind it are still absolutely clueless. but wondering how they still got a job...

I dont think the ref wouldve given anythinh even if he checked the monitor, celso wasnt trying to step on the chelsea player. It was accidental and it was unlikely to cause an injury

Bottlenham are one of the only few teams who are expected to leave stamford bridge without points, despite it being one of the easiest grounds in the league

See what happens when you start a world cup winner ahead of Btech Origi. BTW EPL refs are pathetic.

I have to admit that Kante's absence was good thing for us today. Jorginho and Kovačić ruled the midfield today, both defensively and offensively.

You're jumping the gun, mate. This game proves nothing Spurs are very weak at the moment and you shouldn't take away much from it. If they do well against Bayern then maybe you can throw Kante in the bin and even then it's still a maybe. That's how good Kante is.

@xumeey, I'm not talking about Kante overall but this game in particular. Kovačić still needs to prove himself and Kante's absence gave him and Jorginho more freedom to create.

How was Lo Celso not sent off is beyond me! wtf were the VAR referees thinking?! The official verdict was "Because Lo Celso couldn't put his foot anywhere else" hahahaha what a joke.

VAR made the right decision because celso wasnt trying to step on the chelsea player, he wanted to protect the shield the ball from him. It was also unlikely to cause an injury as he did it without force

@Manmanutd VAR referees already publicly admitted that they've made a mistake....

I heard already, thats how poor they are. It was not even worthy of a yellow card let alone a red and spurs are my most disliked team
