Yes, i dont see anything but a thrashing especially if our players try to pass the ball back instead of progressing up the pitch.

Xhaka continues to be a complete liability. If we want to play out the back, we can't have a central midfielder that can only turn with the left side of his body and will refuse to do so with his right; he needs to have more in his locker especially considering that teams always press us while man marking so he needs to be able to do something different when there isn't an option to pass. Really particular nuance he has that completely slows down the play of the game and leaves us continuously vulnerable to lose the ball in such a dangerous part of the pitch.

K, rant over.

Martinelli a gem, Pepe a better second 45 (never screamed for you to shootmore in my life prior to your goal) and Auba thank you for your goal scoring prowess that allowed us to have a little breathing room.

Anyone else notice that this is our first Premier League win by more than one goal?

If you watch closely after the second goal by Pepe, how martinelli passionately hugged him. Sort of telling him that they’ve got this. The show of relief on the face. It has been hard for both of them, coming to a much tougher league. COYG!!

to be fair, he actually played okay-ish. A lot of good ball control and passes but nothing obvious. But that one mistake where he crosses to the opposition on our own half did gave me a severe butt clenching. He's doing fine in international. I'm sure he just need more love and motivation. And we bashing him constantly will only make him worse. We cant just replace everyone doing bad. It's not fair for everyone in the team.

I totally agree that encouraging and supporting our players will make them perform better but at the moment there's a lot of animosity towards him and that can't be overturned in the span of a couple of weeks. My point is that while we are trying to play this type of football, Xhaka just cannot be our central pivot for us and I encourage you to watch him next time and think about my comments above.

I hope he does somehow turn it around with everything that's happened this season because he's Switzerland captain and their central figure for good reason, he's just yet to show it for us.

BTW, anybody know what happen to Bellerin? Seems like the commentator said he got injured during warm up. Is it serious?

Toureira and Ozil linking really well. Martinelli what a gem. If not ball from Toureira - -; Kolasinac - Martinelli goal, Pepe will not get his goal and assist since he keep on losing the ball prior to that.

If the tv presenter is right, this is the first time we won a game in the league after losing at half time in 8 years! This win is even more worthy of a celebration despite how bad West Ham are

West Ham was not bad imo. They create couple of good chances, but doesnt have the accuracy or Leno did a good job. They lurking around Arsenal box time to time. While Arsenal only looking like Arsenal after that first goal.
When Toureira start dribbling and bring the ball forward himself and then linking with Ozil pretty well.
Prior to that, Toureira mostly get the ball and then pass away, mostly to Xhaka.

West ham gave up, they or bournemouth are the only teams worse than us right now. We only won because we have an elite attack who were given space by the poor opponents

I think that's only true for away games in the league. I'm pretty sure we came back from being behind at HT multiple times last season, I guess they must have been at home

I think when Toureira start to dribble the ball from arsenal side forward then linking with Ozil, they got really good after that. Before that they focus more to give ball to Xhaka. while Xhaka play both Good and Bad today. passing to opponent few times and do decent job after that, what a roller coster. Pepe also, was shitty most of the game when he keep on giving the ball away. Kolasinac play quite good imo. Niles too.
