Norwich City

FT

3 : 2

vs

HT 2 : 1

Manchester City

And they thrashed their opponent 8-0

Although, on any day any team can have unexpected loose to sheer power of will of opposing team, i still agree that Man City's spent enough not to be loosing 2-0 at half time to Norwich

literally one loss by a 1-goal margin due to defensive errors and people are back with the "fraudiola" nonsense lmao pretty sure his track record in the league speaks for itself but hey who cares about facts amirite

Well city will do the thing they always do and thrash their next opponent after a loss. Poor shaktar.

Pretty sure money speaks for itself but who cares about facts?
Pretty sure Norwich was going through injury crisis but who cares about facts?
Pretty sure that one City player worth half of the Norwich starting team but who cares about the facts? Shall I go
On ?

Half??? I’m sure you meant whole squad..

Yes, correction. Entire squad..

true, who cares about the mistakes he will just go and spend another 100 million on defenders :D

City fans need to just accept they're a money club and just own that title instead of trying to argue against it.

Not like Liverpool never spent 70 mil on defender or flops. We don’t have to label clubs as money clubs when every club is trying to make money. Passion doesn’t put butter on the bread, sports car and buy Private Jet.

@Marcus2011 So Liverpool once spends some good money in the transfer market and all of a sudden we're on the same level of spending as City or PSG or the other super-rich clubs?

Point is that every club plays to make money and attract new investments into the club ( fans, sponsors, new rich owners and etc). Club stays a club that thrives to earn money and when they have enough to reinvest into the club too by buying top players. Your clubs owner is a rich American (which i think you hate) who expects X amount of return in profit every year. Yet, he also understands that goal of the club isn't just to earn but also buy top players and keep them and that requires money.. a lot of money if your club wants to win trophies every year. Therefore, when you call some club money club, you call every club money club. Not to mention that passion and intrinsic values are not key factors but extrinsic factors drive the clubs performance just as much.

Some clubs are far richer than others and overspend every transfer window hence why I and many others call them money clubs. Liverpool is not a poor club like the majority of the clubs in the league but Liverpool is nowhere near the likes of United or City in terms of money. I have no problem teams buying players but it just feels unfair when you have to compete with teams that just throw money at everything. I understand you're a Chelsea fan so I know why you're sensitive about this topic but Chelsea has been financially responsible for the last couple of seasons in the transfer market. I actually like our owners I know they're in it to make money but as you said they also understand money isn't the only goal plus our previous owners were terrible so this guy feels like an angel ATM.

Plus their missing first team players

And you're a Real Madrid fan.

Few past years madrid didnt even spend money like others big clubs especially pep google it at least before you troll lol

No shit sherlock....you maybe sorta mildly pointing out the obvious...

you're a Chelsea fan how can you say that

How denial can you get, did you miss the last 2 seasons?

First of all that's ironic coming from a fan of a club funded by a Russian billionare. Second, City have dominated for the past two seasons anyway

@phenomenal I have been supporting Chelsea while you were diapers, long before roman came into Chelsea so check your self before you reck your self mate.

Pretty sure there are tons of people that have supported City since before their takeover as well if you want to play it that way

where was Chelsea until Roman came in, where was City until money came in? @Phenomenal doesn't have to support Chelsea from the time of Adam to tell you the truth. it was just a bad day for City. I can bet my last coin that if this match was played 10x City will win at least 8 out of it.

idk man I've been pretty happy with being back to back champs tbh

relax it's just a one loss. A long season is ahead. What if City beat your team at home and away.

I didn't say the season is over and I didn't say we will win the league so I don't know what you're on about.

say what? none of our defenders are even over 60 million pounds lmao you guys are the ones that would spend that much on a defender, but hey liverpool fans aren't exactly known for being self-aware

City fans should never talk about money when the FFP is investigating them.
