If Ajax had dispatched Real Madrid and Juventus with Ronaldo, why are people so surprised they could do the same with a Tottenham with no Kane and Son?
Not a bad result with no son and Kane, and considering Ajax have decimated Real Madrid and convincingly beat Juve at home. Still they’re are a great team, can’t be too disappointed if they go through, bring on the second leg with Son!
Tottenham played a bit better in second half but still, it could have been worse. I hope Son has the match of his life on the second leg to make up for his teammates looking pretty impotent in front of goal.
nobody :hi there
mr.loser : hi..what ups
nobody: where is your son?
mr.loser: at park..your son?
mr.loser 2: my son,taking a bath..your son?
mr.loser 3: my son, playing pubg mobile your son?
mr.loser 4: at the bench just do nothing...and coming for 2nd leg and make spur win..
nobody: are u you sure?very very sure?? with you son?
Ajax should have gotten a second or third with the way they were playing. Spurs scored like 33 away goals in the pl and with Son back in the lineup for the 2nd leg I wouldn't be surprised if they roflstomp Ajax
dele ali gives off a very complacent vibe off and on the field ever since his rise and now his performances reflects that. he could very well be another jermaine jenas if he remains that way
Typical English player, they just cut above average then they'll act as they're Messi. I'm sure their night life in London clearly not like how Messi at the same age. Professionalism. Doesn't see any improvement from him since last year, unlike Sterling who flourish to be a world class in next few years. Hope he doesn't get injured.
Very nice one touch football from Ajax. They swarmed Spurs in possession particularly before the revived and vital Moussa Sissoko came on. Can’t blame Wanyama for his off night, the dude just came back from a shite run of injuries. Best player for Spurs for me was Moura.
2/2 Because as much as it hurts my heart to say this, but the fact of thew matter is that the two TRULY MOST POWERFUL & FULFILLED WITH FOOTBALL UTTER QUALITY teams (that were the greatest contenders to win this year's UCL) were Barcelona & Rubentus (as much as it hurts my heart to say this, as an AC Milan fan, yet, I'm a realista, and gotta stick to the rue facts)!
Given Real's whole year's form, KO-ing them down was "THAT" big surprise, but KO-ing Rube (a team that would be real CHAMPION IN ANY LEAGUE, including EPl, no matter what the self-centered fans think) was REAL PROOF that Ajax are ready to face Barca in the big final (or L'Pool, 'cause they are also on that level, with Barca & Rube, maybe a liiiitle bit lower, just a bit). Thus, Tottenham is only one more obstacle! Thus BRAVO!
Juventus a bunch of old farts, They couldn't keep up qith Ajax. Not even Spurs can, and they play a high intensity game. Ajax to the final vs Liverpool
These are tow clubs that most of the people will be rooting for them, Whoever goes thru to final! Barcelona or Liverpool will not get that much love from fans around the world!Hopefully Barcelona win cl this season or i can't even mad if Liverpool,Tottenham or Ajax win cl this season!
I mean I'm pretty sure most neutrals at least would like to see Ajax lift the trophy. Not only because of them being underdogs, but also because 1) they play beautiful football, and 2) it's nice to see teams do well after actually having developed their own players instead of just having spent hundreds of millions of euros in order to acquire them
1/2 Bravo Ajax - congratulations! You've done exactly what I (personally) expected to happen! So, I'll begin this comment with this! All those who thought that Tottenham are favorites, were either from the 1st category, the typical EPL fans, who know little or nothing about football (especially outside Premier League - believe that the best football is played there, and that everywhere else, Spain, Italy, Germany, Holland etx... are "2nd cl;ass citizens in the world of elite football"), or are just to vain, can;t see further than their nose. 'Cause the facts are the following:
-Maybe Ajaks' 1st win over Real M. didn;t guarantee great success & quality confirmation, 'cause of Real's porr form, but therefore, the win over Rubentus was a CLEAR SIGN of the TOP LEVEL THIS AJAX team is!
If Kane and Son played, Totts wouldn't defend so much, wouldn't try using the wings so excessively and the game would shape into a mutual scoring bombardment like the ManCity game. Aaand I think it still would end with an Ajax win. This is what will probably happen in Amsterdam.
