Now, this was a real high tension, ultimate skilfull, offensive and utterly beautiful match to watch! A completely different semi-finals of the Copa Italia, unlike yesterday's misery we all saw at San Siro! Both teams deserved the highest numbers/ranking, given the performance, and the will to win and score they showed throughout the all 90 minutes!
At first, I thought Atalanta would have it a bit easier, given their (better) quality, as well as the huge advantage from the first match, bhut as it turned out, Fiorentina weren't afraid a bit, and went into the game with an open mind, and a clear goal to score and win the match, no matter the result!
However, finally, the stronger and more skilful team won, and if you ask me, they absolutely deserve to win the Copa final as well!
To be fair, Fiorentina created enough opportunities in the game to go through. Chiesa and Mirallas though couldn't convert. But Atalanta deserve this final. Culmination of constantly growing, improving and playing progressive football. I think Lazio just have a bit more grit over a one off game but it would be wonderful if Atalanta win it.
Lazio play the most boring and technical football, they overcrowd the midfield and rely on counters, I think Atalanta have the pace to keep up with them. Should be a great final overall.
