Why Lionel Messi didn't play? He hasn't been playing for international since September

CR7 and Messi are god level lol, they get time off whenever they want. Both are busy men, business etc... They don't need to play non-major games and have the power too as well. Plus club level is more important than international break games, even if this International league system is more competitive, can't risk injuring them. They are worth too much to clubs. People watch games just to watch these players, without them less viewership etc... Money talks.

He is currently taking a break from international football for at least a year or a season, not sure but at some point in the future I'm sure he'll be back.

Higuaín has choked on the big stage every time he had the chance. Where have you been the past 5 years.

Maybe because shitties like Messi di Maria benega dybala have not been creating enough chances for him which is their main role whike higuain is the scapegoat becaude he doesn't have such a big name and isn't overrated? There's a reason why he's played for top European clubs
