Croatia

I had my doubts about how seriously the Nations' Cup would be taken, but you could see that both teams cared quite a bit. I suppose for England there was the factor that Croatia stopped the Three Lions from reaching the WC Finals.

I love this new competition. FAR from boring.

Well done England! Finally, under Gareth Southgate, they have become a team that is greater than the sum of their parts. They are playing adventurous, attacking football with little to no fear and handle pressure situations well. Beating Spain away and Croatia at home shows that their new approach is indeed working. Long may this continue.

Lol, at the first England goal, Gomez's foot is inside the pitch when he throws the ball, it should've been Croatia's ball.

Harry Kane was not man of the match in any shape or form today 😂

The thing about this is england team is even if most of them are rivals at club level but for england they forgets that and play with some kind of national bond/pride.
The same cant be said of the previous golden generation. Maybe thats the biggest reason they didnt achieve success.

England's performance is so impressive. We can say the team is in the golden generation. I think the quota for home grown players in the EPL is about to yield the fruits.

Deserved win

LOVREN! I cant hear you now

Everyone was slating the FA for making Southgate the permanent manager. Those fools didn't know that most of these players were coached by him when they were playing for the Young Lions before making their mark for their respective clubs. England were in need of a manager that could change the team spirit. The World Cup performance wasn't a fluke. Many say that they only played the small teams. So then why the fuck did big teams like Germany and Argentina underperform against Iceland, Mexico, South Korea and Croatia ! Needless to say, big teams like Netherlands and Italy didn't even qualify for the World Cup. So suck it, all the deluded plastic football fans.

England was lucky again.... hrvatska vperiod!

NO ROCKETIC, MANDZUKIZ, NO PARTY.

Reiss in the squad next please COE

How could Modric collect all individual awards without any autstanding and exceptional performances in many games? Someone wanted to end the Ronaldo-Messi Era.

Instead of Hand claps ... Loving the passionate celebrations from the English crowd they were jumping.

Sancho's dribble skills are incredible!

Joe Gomez is a beast. In safe hands with Klopp

I really like this England team with Southgate as manager. They're a much better team than the previous years.
