Well done England! Finally, under Gareth Southgate, they have become a team that is greater than the sum of their parts. They are playing adventurous, attacking football with little to no fear and handle pressure situations well. Beating Spain away and Croatia at home shows that their new approach is indeed working. The thing about this is england team is even if most of them are rivals at club level but for england they forgets that and play with some kind of national bond/pride.
The same cant be said of the previous golden generation. Maybe thats the biggest reason they didnt achieve success.

England's performance is so impressive. We can say the team is in the golden generation. I think the quota for home grown players in the EPL is about to yield the fruits.

Everyone was slating the FA for making Southgate the permanent manager. Those fools didn't know that most of these players were coached by him when they were playing for the Young Lions before making their mark for their respective clubs. England were in need of a manager that could change the team spirit. The World Cup performance wasn't a fluke. Many say that they only played the small teams. So then why the fuck did big teams like Germany and Argentina underperform against Iceland, Mexico, South Korea and Croatia ! Needless to say, big teams like Netherlands and Italy didn't even qualify for the World Cup. So suck it, all the deluded plastic football fans.
