Good to see cyclical nature of football. Netherlands were down past 4 years, now maybe they're on the up. Germany won WC 2014, then had a pathetic WC 2018 showing. It's good to have teams experience ups and downs, it gets boring when it's the same old nations all the time. I'm all for Germany being relegated to League B.

Neuer is just plain shit these days. From hero to zero. Virgil van Dijk is improving since he went to Liverpool.

It appears Van Dijk had predicted the scoreline in his goal celebration before it happened

Germany were too wasteful, similar to the WC.. they had many chances but they lack a goalscorer

My ideal lineup to solve the problems

Neuer - Hummels, Süle, Ginter - Sané, Kroos, Havertz, Kimmich - Reus, Werner, Brandt.

Ter Stegen - Max, Rudiger, Tah, Weiser - Gündogan, Can - Gnabry, Müller, Goretzka - Stindl

That leaves the likes of Philipp, Wolf, Hoffmann, Rudy, Hector, Schulz, Hermann, Demirbay, Amiri, Draxler, Schürrle, Gondorf, Henrichs, Stark, Bittencourt, Terrode, Uth, Leno, Trapp, Ulreich, Baumann, Fahrman Hübner, Vogt, Weigl, Volland, etc. all as very decent backups.

that guy Uth is ridiculous how can he possibly start the match? Even crazier is Sanè still out from the starting 11

Honestly this game was just funny to watch it was so so bad. I honestly can't believe Low hasn't changed a damn thing. Yes, I think Müller is getting a bit of a hard rack, but he shouldn't be in the starting XI at this stage. Boateng just gets worse and worse, Draxler was resposible for both of the late goals. Why Low doesnt switch to a 3-4-2-1 like he played in the Confederations cup I don't know? They could play Sané out wide like he plays at City with Kimmich on the opposite side. I honestly cannot wait until Fiete Arp gets his groove in a year or two and can play as a proper out and out striker. until then I think the best option is to accomodate Werner's counter-attacking abilities and play fast direct football. Philip Max needs a call too.

One does not just underestimate Netherlands... Ask Spain(2010), France(2008) and Brazil (last 20 years).

2010 spain won World cup, 2008 spain won Euro cup, and Brazil has 5 world cups mate. So who cares if you guys win here and there, when it matters you are no where to be found. And btw as Footy is saying. This is your first win in any meeting since 2002 and your first in a competitive fixture since 1992. And Germany won 2014 World Cup, and has 4 World cup's.

Faxe, that's exactly the point. We suck in general, but win against the champions. And we're pretty comfortable with that. So that's just your hurt butt talking.

De Ligt is developing into a wall, but still can improve. Time to take Sane outta that pocket!

Was Sane' 'outta that pocket' when he was completely left unmarked and all the time to shoot at goal? What game did you watch?? Germany had 4 shots on target and 11 off target. De Ligt nearly cost Nederlands twice just in the first 5 minutes.

What I meant when I said could improve, seems a bit dodgy in these games, but he's growing well and I can see it. This was a very good game for him IMO.
