I really don't envy the referee here. That was a pretty emotional game and he rarely made mistakes. Has to has nerves made out of steel. Props to the ref team.

I have to say it was a fantastic game but boy am I grinding my teeth at Bayern's tactics today. If they really were trying to "go out and win today", I cannot believe that Rafinha starts in Kimmich's right back position to have Kimmich and Goretzka play holding midfielders instead of a healthy Javi Martinez and Thiago. Rafinha was caught out a ton to be saved by Ajax scuffing some final passes. Gnabry had my heart in my chest and punching walls at the same time today. Boateng really is not in great form. It was a nerve-wracking evening and I'm still not sure Bayern is at 100% since they even struggled to hold possession but wow this was an overall exciting match to watch!!

Kimmich did some decent performance in midfield. If Kovac wants him to stay at that position, we should sign a good right back in January. Another position we should sign is a GK. Neuer is clearly not performing.

Sign a new GK?? Ulreich is good enough. He started off shaky but ended up being extremely solid for us when Neuer was out. He deserves a chance to play is Neuer keeps underperforming
