I agree that premier league is the most competitive league but it doesnt mean that teams in epl are stronger or more solid than teams in other league( ligue 1, bundesliga). Top teams like liverpool and mancity has beeen beaten by teams from ligue 1 ( psg and lyon). Therefore, ligue 1 is not a farmers league and united is still the best team in premier league

Im sorry, but watching Thiago Silva, Di Maria, Neymar & co throw themselves to the ground is why we constantly football into disrepute. Sure, PSG won. But again and again in the 2nd tempo, they denied Liverpool the opportunity to play by throwing themselves to ground. This is why PSG won't win the UCL this year.

Liverpool was outclassed and at times it was like watching men against boys.

I really don't understand why Klopp played Gomez at RB and started with Lovren and Henderson. This latter literally stands in the middle of the park pointing at things, passes the ball sideways and backwards occasionally. It's like playing with 10 men! We always make it more difficult than it has to be, but it's not over for us yet, considering our formidable record at Anfield, we still have a decent chance of going through. YNWA

What's the point of having defense-minded midfielders if they can be cut through like a butter with a simple one-two pass. Klopp needs to bring back last season football where we didn't give the other teams a chance to pass forward.

We are lacking quality in the midfield to hold the ball and bring it forward to the strikers. The amount of passes where we just gave away is beyond belief. We're lacking in quality, confidence, leadership we need to have at least two solid midfielders, one striker, and one defender.

Now we hope to beat Napoli 2-0 which could be harder than this game.
