Well done Valverde! Learning from last years mistakes. Not fooling around and resting players to thoroughly finish off United on tuesday.

It's Barcelona without starting 11 players save Ter Stegen and Dembele.

That game was really boring tbh, MOTM was Vidal, what a warrior! Todibo looks really good too.

Notes from this match: Puig needs cooling down and focusing on the end pass of his midfield runs. Other than that, he looks good. Umtiti and Alena still need experienced players next to them to keep rhythm. Wague works pretty well with 3-4-3 although he needs to better bend into the middle, he can play a good winger forming a trio with Semedo/Todibo and Dembele/Malcom if Valverde tries 3-5-2. That defensive run of his was also promising. Todibo is much more talented than he shows, but needs to combine better with the midfield. Possession was as usual, so I'd say they're clicking except for the forwards. This was a pretty good experiment for the future.

Messi is not playing, of course they'll either draw or lose. Typical Barca needing Messi to win. Same as Real Madrid. The only difference is CR7 is not in RM anymore.

Juve can't win jack and still won't win UCL with ronaldo because their midfielders are pub quality and Ronaldo needs modric kroos casemiro and benzema to feed off

@SergioSR4 we reached the final multiple times without CR7

Oh I hadn't understood that when I was writing it, genius of you to point it out... What am I to answer again? Actual keywords: First team. Having trouble focusing, eh?

They are lucky in that regard because Man United can't do the same. 4 teams are currently fighting in the Premier League for those 3rd and 4th places, and it's very tight.

@dadget yea we are this time, just like how you guys had that rest period before the first leg. Hoping for a good clash on Tuesday.

@dadget,

Manchester United didn't play last weekend when Barcelona played Atletico. Man Utd were really lucky then. Also, regardless, Ole still rested a lot of players for West Ham's game...Man Utd are just..lucky..

Dumpster fire match from both teams. Was kinda hard to watch how poor the play was. No energy, almost like if both had agreed to settle for a draw before it even started.
