Probably to allow the new generation to get experience instead of Marcelo getting injured or retiring or moving team and then bam you're stuck with someone who hasn't played before. RM have ended their period of world's best club this season and are transitioning into a new team. Next season players will be offloaded and new ones will come in. Modric is getting older and won't stay at RM or may not play too long. Ramos is getting older, other players too like Benz. RM will start a new era of growth so newer players need game time.

To add to that. If they have a 18 year old with potential and he doesn't play, his worth isn't worth much. Soon as a youngster plays and has a few games, he goes up by 20million or more. Soon as that player shows potential and grows, they are worth 200m (mbappe etc.) so it's good to see what players have potential playing for the 1st team and if they have what it takes to grow. Selling a young potential player could bag enough money to buy another 2 World class players etc.

One of the silliest turnarounds I've ever watched, Real Madrid should have been losing 3-0 at half-time, and they ended up winning 1-4... But that's football!
That aside, I've never been a fan of Courtois but I can't stop feeling sorry for him, this RM defense has become ridiculous, Varane has been phoning it in since winning the WC, there's nothing a keeper can do when there's two completely loose attackers in front of your goal.
Very good short display by F Valverde though, if he keeps developing his technique then his pace will definitely see him become an amazing talent in the future. IF.

Excuse me what? How am I a hater... I think I gave a pretty straightforward assessment of my thoughts on the match, mind telling me how you disagree instead of just down voting and cussing (also in a very childish manner, at least put some effort into your insults)

Solari play style is great, he just need to get better in defence and not waste lagend players on the bench.

I don't understand why Marcelo is on the bench and only coming in as a substitute in the 89th minute.
