I think valverde should select good young players from Barcelona Academy to save some money paid in Dembele - Coutinho - Vidal because they had some talented young players

Goat or no goat but Barca doesn’t have quality to win champions league. One man dependency never works against big guns in champions league.. last year Roma game is an example and they’re already showing signs of tiredness with one third of the season complete. I think Barca fans can relax now. Psv and villareal games were Barca’s terrible performances and lucky to win them..

Wow, such insight! 1 - Barça has given relatively poorer performances in every single November since 2010 as far as I can recall. The main reason has always been multiple injuries. We won 2 CL cups and 6 La Ligas in this period. 2 - The Roma game? Really? That was one big mistake which had nothing, I repeat, nothing to do with the general performance of Barça which was far ahead of any other team up until that point. It was the only game we lost. Same could happen to Liverpool, but they had seen what happened to Barça, they conceded one less goal. 3 - Barça's group in CL is without a doubt the hardest this year. Anyone who argues otherwise has to be an idiot. PSV may seem weak, but they could be second in any other group. Period.

Messi fanboys always talk about his dribbling skills just as barca fanboys keep focusing on ball possesion and don't see other factors. That's definitely one thing to evaluate a player, but not everything. Ronaldo wouldn't have better dribbling than messi, but he still contributes to the team in many ways every match and it makes him the best player in the world. The achievements he made in the UCL and the Euro competition prove it while messi has never got anything in the World Cup and Coppa America games. I call 'em kids because they always act like football genius while they always see what they want and ignore other things which are really important. Don't be so short-sighted. Ronaldo is way better than messi.

Quite boring game. Most players look tired, especially Messi, Villarreal was rough, after 2 brutal fouls Messi seemed run less, still produced a crazy pass. But I would have taken him off for some rest.

The older players of Barça are obviously tired. That's the reason behind the injuries of youngsters who have to run all the time. It also costs them simple mistakes and inefficient passes, especially by Coutinho, Alba, Busquets and Vidal, whom you'd almost always rely on. For example, why Valverde has not brought in Denis Suarez to rest a still recovering Rakitic a little is beyond me. Suarez would love to play against an opened up Villarreal.

I don't see any fanboys. He had a unusually quiet 2nd half but then out of nowhere produced an Amazing pass to seal off the game. He deserves praise for that.

If you're talking about Messi getting voted MOTM on footyroom, Ill let you know that footyroom polls are a joke and a popularity contest. People used to (idk if they still do) have bots that would vote Ronaldo MOTM every game on many accounts, and it was a huge issue until footyroom banned many of the accounts involved.
