It feels like the La liga dominance over europe will finally be over this season. Real Madrid seriously lacking in the final third, and so is Barca. I dont think they can win UCL this time around.

Nah we will buy hazard or neymar or mbappe in January and normal order is restored. We have the best goalie in the world ( courtois ) best defender ( ramos ) best midfielder ( modric) now we just need a good winger and maybe striker

@diehardbarca Honestly think that Atletico's unit is better right now, and I think it can sustain longer with different types of attacks.

Few things are as boring to witness in la liga as when Atletico Madrid goes for a 0-0. Their defense is worldclass, but seriously they didn't even F-ing try to attack, especially in the 2nd half. Nonetheless Real Madrid and in particular Benzema was incredibly lame in the fimishing part. RM is a team without a pure striker. Man of the match Carvajal and Ceballos did a very good game. Griezmann a bit dissapointing too.

Atletico played solely for the counter, boring undoubtedly but effective I guess. They park the bus, get 0-0, might get lucky on a counter attack (which they had a few) but didn't fish out a win. In the past Atletico under Simone have done the same thing and Madrid have punished them for playing overly defensive but failed to do so today. Both teams likely focusing on UCL.

The problem was that their counterattacks were almost nonexistant (2nd half)... and the few times they tried they lost the ball too easily or just made a lame attempt. It was far far from exciting to watch

ill have to disagree a bit here...yes atletico did relied on counter, and second half, yes atletico did get a lot more defensive, but first half was good. players played with a lot of intensity, atletico had the better chances, and could have scored. Also, Simone did brought a striker Kalinic in place for a midfielder.
