@Faxe_kondi Rakitic is rather defensive, provides cover in counter attack. He's basically all over the pitch. He does the dirty work. Fabregas I wasnt very fond of. I still remember us losing most of the matches where he starts, and a draw when he was subbed in. He was like a temporary curse at that time.

Argentina also has star players the likes of which you mentioned yet they break down if Messi doesn't perform well. If you watched the game then you would know how many chances Messi created that was wasted by his teammates.

I just think that Rakitic really dont bring that much in to the Barca squad. His decent but compared to the likes of Xavi, Iniesta, Fabegras, Deco that Barca used to have in the midfield, his like to levels below. Barca midfield used to be the best in the world, now only Couthino and Busquets is there at the top. In my view they need to play either Rafinha or Arthur in stead of Rakitic, a more playmaker type, to control the game more.
