Spurs need to improve their defending on set pieces. Opposing corners have looked dangerous on Spurs all season.

I honestly thought Watford were gonna beat them when I saw 1-0 at the 40th minute. That would of been something for Watford. GG Spurs comeback kings.

29,000 at the game tonight. Seriously, do you boys need a new stadium with this attendance rate?

It was actually 31,000 but still, we’re now considered as one of the big clubs of europe and should at least get 40,000 attendance on average per game. I don’t get it why Levy wanted a new stadium knowing that White Hart Lane’s capacity is 38K and it’s more than enough. Now that we already got a new stadium, our problem now is money. We have to finish top 2 and also get to at least the QF of the champions league in order to have a good transfer budget next season unlike this season, where poch only had 12 million to spend on players

Sir_Frank, I imagine a main reason is to have better corporate offerings. The suites, executive seating, and other premium amenities geared towards businesspeople (not rowdy fans), will make a massive increase in matchday revenue. Spurs' new stadium takes it to a whole new level with microbreweries, "tunnel club", a cheese room and so on. All the corporate stuff really hurts the atmosphere, because those attendees are tryna close business deals not sing football songs. That bums me out, but if it massively improves club revenue, I support it.

Regarding tonight's attendance, I've heard the transit situation around Wembley is a nightmare. As an Englishman, do you know if that holds any merit? Also, the supporters are a bit in the dumps with the new stadium's delays, but I agree no excuses.

Spurs had a waiting list for season tickets of almost 20k before the move. They have since sold another 19k:

http://www.footballeconomics.com/quantifying-loyalty-as-tottenham-move-to-40000-season-tickets/

Expect the attendance to be around 45-50k in the new stadium, not including obvious big matches and derby days.

Ledley took a page out of Jurgen Klopp's book. That guy celebrates like a maniac before the final whistle.

Geez. Spurs now 2 points behind City.... Title race is on as long as Spurs don't notoriously bottle it. I think squad depth is the weakest part of spurs though, hard to stay consistent without squad depth over a whole season, especially with CL football on top of everything.
