I've been defending him all season because he's the centrepiece of this "Sarriball" system, but I'm sure other guys can do an even better job in the "Jorginho" role. Fabregas could've, even Ampadu will if Sarri plays him.
Sarri's used the same tactics when they constantly aren't working. Hazard false nine only works against poor teams, otherwise, we're getting literally nothing out of an incredible player. Why does Kovacic keep coming off around 60'? Should've put Kovacic in the deeper role, and taken Jorginho off for Barkley. The defensive line has been the same for every PL game this season, and teams are just taking Alonso apart.

Sarri complained about the players' determination in his presser, but what do you expect when you keep out-of-form players like Willian, Jorginho and Alonso in the side, without giving guys like Emerson, Drinkwater, CHO or even Moses a chance. Sarri said that Drinkwater/Moses aren't suited to his style... did he even trying coaching him?
Let's hope things turn around when Sarri gets his man Higuain, but his reluctance to be flexible and tweak the current system is killing us right now. If the players don't adapt to Sarriball, then Sarri's got to try something else.
