like Liverpool last season, if they had atleast VVD defender first half of the season, they would've won something . too many games they lost even thought the front 3 were banging goals.

Walking in Liverpools footsteps

Yeah, Liverpool is the best example for Arsenal at the moment and after one or two seasons they could challenge for the title.

not even close, Arsenal don't have money to splash 70+ million on defenders..

I think they have the money, they just have a different policy in the transfer market. Wenger used to say that too.

@quikzyyy why not sell Ozil and invest that money into a quality defender. We bought one great defender and he solved all of our problems. Arsenal can do the same.

I don't think Arsenal can sell a player at a high cost like Liverpool who had to sell Coutinho (which I personally think was a blessing in disguise)

I think Ozil is at least worth 70 million in today's market and they will save money in his wages if they sold him.

no one is going to buy Ozil even for 50 million, and even if someone did no one is going to pay his ridiculous wages of 350k/week..

@xumeey: one defender and one goalkeeper... both for a world record fee at the time.

Yes but Arsenal don't need a record-breaking GK like us when we signed Alisson. We had a huge GK problem but Arsenal are not in that situation at the moment, Leno is a good GK. They just need a world class defender that holds their back four together.

Plus after their injured players recover they will be in a better situation.

It isn't just money. They also don't have the pulling power. Haven't won the league now for well in excess of a decade.

Liverpool haven't won the league in like 28 years yet we had the pulling power to get Alison keita dijk fabinho etc. So it doesn't matter if arsenal haven't won league in over a decade. Salty Milan fan

Liverpool have 5 european cup / champions league titles. They also have a bigger fan base and one man / one group at the top, controlling the club. Arsenal - 0 champions league / european cups, haven't won the league for well over a decade and have a majority share holding owner who has more important interests in his portfolio. No comparison between the two clubs.

Ajax have more champions league titles than man United, Chelsea, juventus, Dortmund, man City, PSG you think they have a bigger fanbase than those clubs? What an imbecile

Aston Villa have the same of European cups / champions leagues as Chelsea. They have more than Man city. Same applies to Nottingham Forest. Their plight at this moment in footballing time though is not a good one.
Liverpool are operating in the richest league in the world. They have a longstanding fan-base. When fan base, good income, good management are backed up by prestige (a full trophy room), players are attracted. Hence why in this day and age, nearly no top player turns down Barcelona and Real Madrid. But go back 2 decades, Ronaldo who was the best player on the planet moved from Barcelona to Inter as they were operating in a better league and had prestige. Ajax have a more loyal fan-base than PSG and Man city. PSG and Man city's fan-bases are all armchair fanatics. Like you.

Says the Milan glory hunter from London. Foh

Agree, just need couple good defenders - they have no problems with scoring goals...

Dude, what's your obsession with Tottenham? If you love them so much why not support them instead of Arsenal?

At vital times like this , the club needs our supports and here comes the plastic fans

Using arsenal name having man utd player as profile picture and supporting Tottenham in comments' section ; dude even Drake would be jealous of you

only a good diver can breakthrough that first 11 diver simulation team.

you're suited to be man united fans with your level of retardation.

Lol are you trying to collect downvotes?

fulham had wayyyy too many good opportunities.. we arent controlling games at all.

and the Referee want to see somebody injured before giving a foul.. Fulham midfield committing alot of foul but not even a warning.

Take it easy my friend, Arsenal just bounced back from the defeat, and I like the reaction.

Also, Arsenal has a lot of young good players, so use them instead. There is no shame in making a comeback from difficult position.
