The match was surprisingly boring for me while those two are often regarded as the teams which play the most interesting football. Liverpool kept attacking in the first 30 minutes but it didn't seem to be efficient. I think Man City slightly did better against their opponents.

why am I so down rated on my previous comment? Guardiola is by far a tactical coach than klopp. Not to fool ourselves with the rushing football that klopp has joined in England. I don't recall the last European title won by Klopp because he's never. But you don't question yourselves? He is always the perfect runner-up.

Pep told Mendy to tell Mahrez to take the pen instead of Jesus as well. Mahrez wanted Jesus to take it. It seemed Pep used it as an opportunity to build Mahrez up and show that Pep has confidence in Mahrez, but it didn't work out that way in the end. This could be a crucial mistake from Pep, but it is what it is, I doubt he'll be taking any in the future.

Salah look like losing confident, but still looking dangerous, far better than Mane and Firmino, Mane look very dangerous in counter, but quiet useless without space, and he quiet selfish lately, Firmino is good for team, always drop to defend, give space and can assist Salah and Mane, but he dont have a lot of poaching mindset as striker, he the tallest attacker than Salah mane, vs team that defend deep the tall player always needed, but rarely he win any header that lead to goal ...

i surprise lately games against chelsea sarri and pep city, both of them sacrified thier possesion tiki taka style and their high line defense to play quiet defensive and counter attack in game vs Liverpool only, both chelsea and city had 75% average possesion, but both of them only had 50% possesion vs Liverpool, City last season had 65% possesion againts us in 4-3 game, it seem everyone know how to counter us, klopp need to do something, another big teams like Arsenal will do the same for sure.
