Pride of London is arsenal not this Russian team

Arsenal 0 champions league... no pride

Chelski less league titles than Everton small club

Not in France... he always works hard in the NT :)

Agree the hate on him has been ridiculous sometimes

1. They're playing Cardiff.
2. He is a 'striker'. Strikers are ultimately judged by the amount of goals they score. He never looked like scoring at the WC, has no goals in 3 games this season and his record for Chelsea is abysmal. Of course you have to commend him creating two goals for Hazard, but it's Hazard.

like the other top targetman; Drogba, mandzukic, and soon mitrovic... this type of striker is rare nowadays. they dont have to score, but their tactical job was to make a room for another as a decoy and second ball provider.. i think Giroud is the best at the moment... WC trophy is the proof

Drogba is one of the top scorers in Chelsea history. Mandzukic with a very commendable goalscoring record prior to moving to Juventus, where Allegri has mainly deployed him on the left side of a front three. Bar occasional changes in tactics during matches, he has never been fully deployed centrally as a traditional target man. In fact, most of his work has been with balls to his feet. How many assists did Giroud provide at the world cup? If I'm not mistaken, I don't think he actually had a shot on goal either.

Can’t understand these French fans backing Giroud in NT, he is a bench player at best not France main threat. I’d rather play Lacazette/Gameiro/Ben Yedder rather than Giroud. And Actually the best option would have been Mbappe who scored 4 goals in WC, without PKs nor Fks given to Griezmann. Actually he could have been best scorer if given PKs or playing as a 9. I respect Giroud as a joker, but to say he is number one in France is complete nonsense. If I was Benz I would be shaking my head...

France has Mbappé and Griezmann for scoring, pace and finesse. However none of them can bring the physical play that Giroud provides. He is strong in the body, in the air and works well as a target player. Instead of being the main man he has a complementary role in the attack which has apparently worked very well! Lacazette etc. would just give more to the team of what others already bring. You are focusing on the individual players (and stats?) while ignoring how they work as a group. This also reminds of how Benzema works at Real madrid, with a complementary role to the stars in the attack. So if I would have changed Giroud it would have been for Benzema as their roles are similar. However the schism between them made it impossible. Still, Giroud has worked well, the gold medal says so.

France won thanks to defense, Giroud was horrible his gold medal is thanks to the team. He was there to score at first, his combining is below average and his main contribution was in heading the ball which is insufficient to claim NT first spot. I still think it’s a joke to start him he is clearly the less talented of the front 3.

In the big picture I think he does well

u got that right

Arsenal will smash everyone and win title by 6 points minimum

Exactly. I never understood his talent in Arsenal because he had no goal scorers around him.

If Giroud had an ounce of pace he'd be world class.

He already is a candidate for leagues mvp

yup its de gea's last season before he joins city or a team that doesnt park the bus

1 week coz salah will score a hat trick in Chelsea

Have you forgotten about Watford

Last year i remember he only scored a single goal from 2 games in his best season ever against the crisis chelsea side under conte. So what makes you sure he will score hattrick next game?

@GunnersAFC worry about finishing top 4 while we win the league

Chelski fan don't make me laughing Chelsea winning league hahahahaha. Arsenal should have smacked you in your stadium if mkhitaryan and aubameyang didn't miss easy chances would be 4-2 at half time and in total control of 2nd half. Chelsea will be lucky to get 4th mark my words

Yes typical arseanal fans who always use words should, would, if and refuse to admit their defeat. You should change your real identity and don't use juventus instead as your camouflage

Wow, why do you know liverpool will be our next match? I dont bother which team will arsenal faced, hahhahaa

@roadcrewcunt you will soon realise when a clinical team like Liverpool and city sweep you aside then you'll realise how lucky you got vs arsenal small club

hahaha yeah yeah yeah, arsenal WAS a big club. a thing that they can proud of was an invincible season, and after that trying so hard to reach big 4 and after this season, arsenal will be trying so hard to reach 6th position

Lol, i support chelsea since 98, i dont care even abramovich didnt buy chelsea long ago. Funny thing is qualified for 22 years in a row without winning it, hahahhaahahaha. Prepare yourself mate, now arsenal will be in europe league for many years in a row or not in european competition anymore. Every year, you will tell people about 22 years in champion league in a row and one invincible season, those were only you can proud of

hey leave rio alone i mean the man already supports a depressing ass club

That game will be insane!
