Yooo remember when Milik got injured at Napoli so Sarri experimented and played Mertens, who was competing with Insigne at LW, to ST/CF. Mertens went from 11 goals the previous season to 34 goals. Maybe Sarri could do this again but with Pedro in the middle and Hazard/Willian on the wings. It could be the solution to Morata, he and Giroud make better impact subs

why the fuck would you not start hazard. He's the club best player, even plays Morata on his stead, what was he thinking?

really pleased with the performance. Great to see Luiz back and playing well.

So happy that we got a flying start to the season! Quite satisfied with the overall performance without the form of Morata. He has to show more efforts and be more energetic.
No idea who Sarri gonna choose for the next game, Morata might get started as it seems like Sarri had chosen him to be our first choice in front, but if he keeps playing like today then, hopefully, Giroud will be given time to play at the end of that match.

Pedro was underrated,
key pass for kante goal, one goal, dynamic wing play, and constantly help the defence

I think Pedro can easily replace Morata in the ST position just sell Morata or send him on a loan to gin his confidence back. Typical Kante, what a talent that short man is; that chelsea scout that convinced Chelsea to buy him is a genius. I'm still upset that he left Leicester City because they need him, some as Mahrez I hate those kind of unloyalw players especially that they won the EPL Title together in that club if that was me I would of stayed just like Vardy because no matter how small the club is I would wana still fight since I won the EPL title there then probably transfer to a bigger club after winning at least 3 titles but Kante and Mahrez left right after they won the 1st title and basically said "this club is trash let me get the fuck out of here"

Mahrez stayed 2 more seasons than kante though.

@SergioSR4 you know why right? he was on his way to Man City but things didn't work out and transfer window ended so there was no much time to do anything; plus he went missing around the first week last season trying to find ways to join Man City without telling his club, Leicester City then he got suspended for couple of days for that lol so he wanted to leave but time wasn't on his side, that still counts

Manchester United 0 158

I suppose you never quit your first job and are still working there.

SergioSR4 8 years ago

Lambo even if mahrez left last summer that's still 1 more year than kante

Lambo91 8 years ago

Juventus, Italy 0 5196

@SergioSR4 yeah but he still wanted to leave right after he won the EPL title with Leicester City because he got so many offers that were willing to pay him good money but just things didn't work out behind closed doors that a lone counts as he left tbh because he didn't wana stay.

Chelsea looking good just need Morata to score couple of goals to bring his confidence back up front

chelsea will struggle against big clubs this season... they were weak today ...

BlueForever 8 years ago

Chelsea FC, Brazil 0 141

We're still adapting to Sarri. Next week will already be our first real test when we face Arsenal, so we'll see how that goes

aniesdo 8 years ago

Chelsea, Nigeria 0 74

Rome wasn't built in a day. Even if they do struggle it is expected. New manager and philosophy needs time to adapt by players. Starting eleven still not decided yet. It took Pep about a full season to get his ideas across, it's taking your team more so why is Chelsea different? Don't forget the more you play together the more the chemistry will improve.

trimind 8 years ago

Manchester United, Canada 3 533

The Sarri ball is slowly but surely improve Chelsea. Btw, Jorginho and Barkley looked very well in the game.

What is Morata doing this game? I rarely see him made any run or shooting attemp?

duedoetz 8 years ago

Chelsea 1 139

morata shooting may still need a little work. but his combination play is not that bad at this match. so he is ok i think

SarriBall 8 years ago

Chelsea, Italy 8 218

Wonderful football, even at 2-0 we didn't settle and sit back just to allow the opponent to press us the whole match, instead we keep the match plan as is and wanted more. That's the beginning of SarriBall, Get in!

BlueForever 8 years ago

Chelsea FC, Brazil 0 141

Second half? YES!
First half was slow and boring, second half was much better

SarriBall 8 years ago

Chelsea, Italy 8 218

Yeah Second half was way better for one reason tho, the first half they were defending with 10 players which made it harder to break, but once we scored the 2 goals the system showed up even more when the other team don't park the bus much in the second half.

BlueForever 8 years ago

Chelsea FC, Brazil 0 141

True true. And with upping the tempo the boys took complete control of the game.
Btw Hazard looks fit enough to face Arsenal next week. He was monstrous when he came on.

SarriBall 8 years ago

Chelsea, Italy 8 218

yes indeed, I can't wait till Mateo also is fit we will have much higher tempo
