Aguero and Lo Celso must start in the WC, had enough with Higuain and Icardi should be called up for plan B, he has been great this szn.

Some notes about Argentina after this match:
1. Salvio and Tagliafico are the best option for wingbacks
2. Aguero and Lo Celso must be in starting lineup.
3. Higuain doesn't have a good chemistry with Messi.

I would have a front three with Di Maria-Aguero-Messi for WC

Di Maria is incompetent when it matters

Not at all. He has been good when allowed to play in PSG, even when it mattered. And last WC he was one of their best players. You underrate him.

And if he plays with Messi and Aguero he doesnt have to carry too much on his shoulders. I would give him somewhat free role on his side. I think Argentina (including di maria) has so much individual skill that they should give at least their offense free roles to add creativity. Under those circumstances di maria can shine :)

Nigeria 🇳🇬 are in trouble

@RationalCogitator I think @himsdlee said that because Argentina have Messi, but I will say that Nigeria are in trouble because Argentina and Croatia are just better teams. Plain and simple. No offense.

@BlaugranaDude I understand ur point and no offense taken what so ever. I agree Argentina is a better team, but Nigeria is a par with croatia, especially if you look at our record since losing out to Afcon qualifier. I think we've been playing mesmerizing football. However, if you compare our players to Croatia's players 1v1, I definitely believe they have more high profile players.

Don't think anyone would use the word 'mesmerizing' to describe the way Nigeria plays lol

@Zeshii lol...why not? I actually believe it is suitable considering how high intensity, high goal scoring, and good defense. Have you been watching our matches since the beginning of qualifiers?...Anyways Can u expatiate on ur view tho?

Higuain is usually world class, but for some reason he can't perform well for national side, especially when it matters the most.

Haiti or Tahiti... doesnt matter what the opponents are called. Messi would get the job done anyway.

Higuain should just stop getting called up to the national team. Argentina has so many forwards to pick from and they continue to start the guy who single-handedly lost Argentina the world cup.

Higuain actually does have a good chemistry with Messi, take a look at Messi's goal vs Bosnia in WC 2014, Higuain just can't finish the ball properly, his positioning is immense but his finishing letting him down.
