Disagree. Pool have consistently scored 4 or more goals this season. Salah has scored 43 goals in 46 games. WHat does this mean? Fk all. But he’s more than Messi or CR7. tHat 🎩 Been a while since that happened.

liverpool cannot defend. they have to play the ball for the whole 90 minutes. huge mistake when klopp sub off salah. those 2 away goals are completely unnecessary given away. 5-0 scoreline pretty much sum up the whole game. 2 away goals meant roma is still in the game. liverpool need to invest in defense this summer.

World Class at the moment but to be the best in the world you need to do it over a longer period. Salah gets my vote for the Ballon d'Or this year. Would be interesting to see if he can keep this form like Messi and Ronaldo have done for 7-8 years consistently. Sadly he can't expect to shine internationally this summer.

You kids born yesterday seriously make me laugh. Back in the day, when only the true champions of the corresponding countries were entitled to play in the tournament, the semifinals were epic fights between equal teams. 1:0 or 2:1 was in fact a huge advantage. Now we have one team trashed some random Italian fluke by 5 goals and all I hear is "it's not over yet..." Pathetic!
By the way, in the hindsight of events, Barca must feel even more stupid now...

If other's team, I would possibly say "it's not over yet". Or the first leg between Liverpool vs Man City, I would say it's still not over.

However this Liverpool team attack is on another level. And I am not disrespect to Roma, but they are basically out of the tie if not because of Liverpool naive moment in the last 10 mins. Liverpool will surely have the first blood in the return leg.

Barca weren't good enough. They expected to walk through, a team with that mentality is childish and weak. Roma overcame with pure determination and spirit to win that game. That's the beauty of this competition. You have to be in form or just like that you have to wait another year to try. Man City by your logic should be here in the semi's not liverpool. Difference is, Liverpool smashed them in the CL even though City won the League easily. Shows Man City weren't ready for that level of a game, you can't lose a game in the knockouts and think meh, try again next week like in the League, it's all or nothing. You have a child like mentality, so don't say "you kids"

@jarsocmed It's not about United or Mourinho. It is about a simple football tactic. You don't go guns blazing against a fast counter attacking team when your midfield and attack is slower than theirs. Wait for a mistake. It's Liverpool ffs. They will make an error out of frustration. Sometimes you have to play to their weakness rather than your strength.

Subs Danny Ings for Salah was the biggest mistake in this game. Danny Ings is proven to be ineffective as a winger in Everton game. And In this game, since the pressure in the right wing deteriorated as Salah came off, Kolarov and Perotti had more freedom to attack and Ings was incapable of defending as well

Roma still can comeback, nothing is impossible in football, but like i said before in Preview if Roma lose, Liverpool will learn from Barca mistakes, after watching several liverpool away games like porto, man city or sevilla (in group stage) i think Liverpool will definitely score at Rome.

why ? to recovered a 5-2 deficit Roma need to completely attack Liverpool just like Barca games, but thats dangerous to do that because Liverpool are proven deadly at counter attack, De Rossi and Strootman is too slow to defend liverpool counters, Juan Jesus and Kolarov cant hold Salah, and most importantly Salah play at Roma before so he will feel like home there, the only way for roma to turn this game around is to break Salah and Firmino legs, sorry roma fans but this only my opinion.

I think Liverpool defence is better than Barcelona's. Liverpool defends with units from the front to the back. Barcelona defends only Busquets & two CB, in line with their attacking philosophy.

So, I think Liverpool will go through.
