Olympic Marseille will win the Europa League Cup and the Lyon stadium would be additional advantage for the french team like in their home stadium

*correct me if I am wrong*
Wasn’t it offside just before the own goal? When the still is shown in the video, fwds in offside position and in the immediate play it was a goal. Shouldn’t that be allowed as offside ?

damnrital 8 years ago

two offside and hand on the control. this goal should never have been.

I agree. A true gentleman. He showed good character as a player and as a captain.

He is the key player of this team. There is no Marseille without him. It's just crazy the impact he has. He is one of my favorite players of the moment. He can do everything and does it so well. The best part is the teams they play against know they have to keep him quite and they can't manage it. Every game he expresses himself like he wants. He's a badass and should be a starter for France in Russia.

In the first game Salzburg lost a goal by a hand, now corner, Bayern were robbed. When uefa mafia will accept the VAR? Lol, all the modern sports has this system like basketball, volleyball, hockey not football.

What about the penalty not given to Marseille tonight? I love how selective you are

RunkJat 8 years ago

Well he's just talking about salzburg but he's not saying Marsielle doesn't deserve it or whatever. His point is just that bad ref decisions are deciding games which is true. A ref performance like that is horrible at this stage and ruins the game. Doesn't matter if Marsielle and Salzburg are playing or some other team. This type of reffing at such a high stakes game is pitiful.

what about the second goal that salzburg scored? both strikers were offside when it was crossed in, and one of them clearly interfered with the play by putting huge pressure on the defender making him clear the ball poorly to the guy who scored.

Referee mistakenly thinks that Rolando is Ronaldo, so he gave him that corner.

The ref was terrible. Forgot penalties for both teams, and then this corner. Well played to Marseille, they had the best squad. Hope they can beat Atletico

TottSpurs 8 years ago

Tottenham Hotspur, United States 0 682

But did they really have the best squad over the 2 legs? They couldn't muster a shot on target tonight, until, say, hmmm, the dodgy corner..

Mauricio_elmessiah 8 years ago

Tottenham Hotspur, Croatia 0 581

they were lucky over the 2 legs, would be easy for atletico madrid

You're right about the need of VAR in CL and EL.. But it wouldn't change a thing about the Marseille goal since it is only used to determine goals, penalties and red cards to not waste time.. The thing that also needs to change is the assistant referees being to shy to actually say anything and end up just watching..

ChelseaFC4eva 8 years ago

Chelsea, Germany 0 437

The pace of the game is getting faster, Hard for a referee to keep up. Who knows maybe they will put robots to be a referee???

That goddamn corner given to Marseille at 116' is totally undeserved, the ball CLEARLY touched Marseille player. Not gonna rude towards Marseille's fans but Salzburg was robbed their chance to the final thanks to faulty referee. where's VAR when we need it?

brah, shh, salzburgs second goal was offside. no team was robbed. just the usual shit for brain referees we seem to be seeing more and more of these days

Mauricio_elmessiah 8 years ago

Tottenham Hotspur, Croatia 0 581

it was marginal offside and excusable, but the corner, the assistant saw it clearly.

TottSpurs 8 years ago

Tottenham Hotspur, United States 0 682

WOW, JUST WOW. Should be going to penalties right now!!! What a terrible call, giving Marseille a corner!!! Russian refs at it... Just make the right calls!!!! The replay is so clear, Salzburg player nowhere near it, and the strike clearly goes off another Marseille player. Salzburg played extremely well tonight. But anyway, hope Marseille goes on to beat Atletico!!! Salzburg deserved a chance at pens. Y'all just watch that replay. It's actually kind of infuriating in general how many corners, goal kicks, throws are given INCORRECTLY throughout a match.
